About this property
The Spring Water Retreat - NEW! @MillCreekCabinsWI
Located next to a natural spring and overlooking the lake, this cabin is carefully hidden from the rest of the property. After crossing a narrow path along the lake you will find the secluded entrance to the Spring Water Retreat. The remains of an old farmhouse welcome guests to a warm, secure, escape from the everyday. Surrounded by trees and blocked off by the stone wall this space is the perfect place to relax in the woods.
Built into the side of the hill within feet of the spring the 850 sq. ft. Spring Water Retreat is designed to blend into the landscape. With no TV and large windows looking out over the lake, the focus is on the outdoors. Despite the remote location, a high-speed internet connection is available to keep you connected throughout your stay. A king bed, fireplace, seating area, full kitchen, large bathroom, laundry room, balcony seating area, gas grill, and personal outdoor firepit are all yours to use. Get lost in the sound of the flowing spring while you kick back and relax!

Our stay at Spring Water Retreat was perfect. The private and rural location was just what we wanted. The condition of the cabin was very nice. We put the kitchen and grill to good use in preparing our meals. The kitchen was well stocked. Accurate directions and check-in instructions were provided. The photos of the location were exactly as we found it. We would certainly recommend this location and look forward to visiting it again!
Beautiful retreat. Easy access at check in, has everything you would need for a short stay. Property was very clean and well taken care of. Would definitely stay again!
It is a beautiful property and beautiful cabin! It is very well tended to and is amazing! It is truly the most peaceful place that I have stayed and I am sure to go back!
This is the second time I have stayed here and it is truly paradise! My husband and I enjoyed it immensely even though it rained it’s such a beautiful place that we didn’t mind staying indoors and enjoying the quiet. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants it to get away from everything. We have already booked to go again next year.
The peoperty was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was emaculantly clean, both the cabin and the grounds. My wife and I felt at home right away. You can fall asleep to the sound of the spring right out your window and wake up to the sunrise coming through the windows, or better yet on the patio with a cup of coffee. We will definitely be back again!!

Location, surrounding land and the home are all good. Coming from a large city, I chose this location because it promoted relaxation and QUIET.
This property allows atvs and side by sides. We were turned off by the amount of engine noise that was made by a family staying across the pond in the big house. There were people joy riding their ATVs the entire weekend we were there.
There are several houses on this property and if I knew that atvs were allowed I would not have picked this location. There is also a "grey area" in the rule book for the property, that states not to go near other houses, but fishing anywhere around the pond is fine. With windows facing out towards the pond for Spring Water Retreat and a large house across the pond, dont expect total privacy. (there are curtains on all windows, but not the two entrance doors with large glass windows).
Another turn off was check out procedure. With a per day cleaning fee, guests are told to wash and put away all dishes they used, clean countertops and take out the trash. Why am I paying a hefty cleaning fee? So that I can clean on my vacation?
Bed was very comfortable, place was clean and well maintained, but the private patio is false.
The property and house were beautiful and well kept! There are a couple other cabins on the property but you barely notice, they are all tucked in the woods with water views. It was easy to find.
