About this property

Country Poolhouse Retreat near SMF/UC Davis Campus

Our pool house is conveniently located in the country and is a separate from our main house. It is located in our gated backyard with views of the pool, this is how it got its name “ the Poolhouse Retreat” It is a private 12x12 foot room with a cloud queen mattress, soft sheets, bamboo pillows, duvet, nice soft towels and all the amenities you should need. The detached shower/restroom is private for pool-house guests only during their stay. As we're water conscious we use a twice sink in the bathroom. We provide use of the outside kitchen if you want a full size sink. We provide robes and slip on shoes for you comfort to travel back and forth. Inc: mini fridge, microwave, single brew coffee maker. TV with DVD player, movies, and Netflix.

We have wonderful views of the Napa and Capay Valley mountain ranges. We’re surrounded by almond tree orchards and have a secluded backyard where stargazing is a must. We’re 30 minutes from Cache Creek Casino. 10-15 minutes from UC Davis, 15-20 minutes to SMF and 25-30 minutes to Downtown Sacramento. 30 minutes to local Napa County wineries, and Lake Berryessa. 2 hours to Tahoe, 1.5 hours to SFO and 6 hours to Oregon. We’re conveniently located between interstate 5 the 113 and the 505 freeway.

No smoking inside the room, bathroom, patio or pool . Smoking is allowed at the fire pit area only. Please properly dispose waste. Thank you.

Country living at its best! The host, Jamie was lovely! She greeted us as we pulled up and showed us around the property.The pool house was surrounded by a beautiful yard with multiple seating areas, a pool and hot tub, a pool table, a cornhole game and chickensThe room was so cute and the bed and pillows so comfortable! Pictures don’t do any Justice because this home and location is amazing. Host Jaime made our stay memorable with her very out going personality and very down to Earth. Please read the details after making your reservations because she explains everything to make things easier upon your arrival to her beautiful paradise. It’s definitely a 5 Star location and home if you are into Nature and Serenity. We will definitely stay at her Peaceful Place anytime we visit Sacramento/Davis and it was most definitely worth our 6 hour drive from Southern California.

Caution unattached bathroom

This property was lovely and very clean. The only problem we encountered was the lack of transparency with the listing itself. Beware that the restroom is detached and the only water available for face washing and teeth brushing is the outside bbq kitchen sink. We definitely would not have stayed here if we were aware of the detached bathroom. Shame on the owner for the misleading listing.

Pool house rental with detached bathroom

Well stocked cute pool house with detached toilet, shower and sink. Except the sink on top of the toilet is not useable for washing one’s face, brushing teeth or shaving. It should be noted that the only normal sink is in the bbq area which is off limits to the occupants of the pool house. The photos are misleading. There is also no table to eat on, or use for a computer. They are for homeowners only. Same with all the chairs in the shade. It is a very awkward situation. Otherwise nice pool.

Amy, my listing has been on another platform and has over 150 5 star reviews. The welcome guide online and inside the unit tell you about all amenities, which are accurate. Upon check in I personally walked you around and showed you the sink twice to which you responded you also are a water conserver, so it makes sense to you. I also showed you where the outside kitchen area as well as the provided furniture in the shade. Signs are up to provide guests with there own spots due to Covid19 and sanitizing. You looked as though you had a great stay and enjoyed you family visiting out by the fire pit. You never stated anything during your time here or I could have addressed it. Wishing you the best.
