Beautiful 18th century stone house, with modern appliances and peaceful courtyard

A total pleasure to stay here. The arched stone ceilings are amazing. Great location for strolling the village. And Christian and Francoise, the owners, are wonderful hosts. Fantastic jardine for après climb celebrations.

Good stay in Vallon Pont d'Arc

Stayed here for a week with my husband and my son. The house "Les enfants du Barry" was a really lovely house in a convenient location. Françoise, the owner is very accommodating and very helpful in providing instructions to visit the area . We had a very pleasant stay. We all loved it !

Excellent place to stay

A gem of a place to stay. We were here as a family. The house is exceptionally clean, spacious and bright. The house is about a five minute walk from the centre of the town and its many places to eat. The lady who greeted us could not have been nicer. Highly recommended

A fantastic home

The property is absolutely stunning, decorated traditionally with some beautiful touches. It is deceptively large with an amazingly well stocked kitchen. You’ll want for nothing, every utensil, appliance you could ever need. The owners left a welcome pack which was a lovely gesture. The property is in the village just 100 metres from bars and restaurants and all amenities are easily walkable including the supermarket. There is so much to see and do including river swimming and canoeing on the Ardeche. In a word ‘magical’

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt - Eine Woche Vallon und Umgebung

De très bons souvenirs de vacances

Nous avons passés un superbe séjour au sein de cette magnifique Bastide. Le lieu est superbe et nous nous sommes sentis très bien accueillis par les propriétaires. Disponibles, arrangeants, serviables, nous recommandons à 100%. Seul bémol, l'accessibilité avec la voiture dans les petits rues de Vallon. Mais la proximité avec le centre ville (et la cour intérieur pour sécuriser notre véhicule) nous fait vite oublier ce détail.

Sehr schönes Objekt in zentraler Lage

Alles was man benötigt kann man schnell zu Fuß erreichen. Restaurant, Bäcker, Fleischer, Supermarkt etc. Das Objekt ist dennoch ruhig gelegen. Der Vermieter ist jederzeit telefonisch oder per Mail erreichbar. Wir fanden es sehr schön und würden es wieder buchen. Die Touristen-Informationen im Haus waren leider nur in Französisch hinterlegt. Mehrsprachige Ausgabe wäre perfekt. Beste Grüße

Dejligt hus, dejligt sted og dejlig ferie

Charmerende og hyggeligt stenhus (køligt) beliggende i yderkanten af centrum i dejlig lille by med gåafstand til mange spisesteder og lokale indkøbsmuligheder. Flere seværdigheder i området. Veludstyret køkken, velfungerende badeværelse, god vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. To gode dobbeltsenge, 2 mindre gode madrasser. Dejlig gård med sol og skygge. Parkeringsmuligheder i nærheden. Vi kunne have ønsket os bedre siddeforhold i opholdsstuen såvel som i gården. Bestemt et sted, som vi vil overveje at vende tilbage til.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié • La localisation du logement à proximité du bourg mais très au calme • La taille du logement, la fraicheur à l’intérieur malgré une chaleur importante en dehors des murs • La taille de la propriété • La taille des 2 chambres, les espaces de rangement dans les chambres • Le confort des matelas • Dans la cuisine : la cuisinière elle-même, la vaisselle (en quantité), le nombre de couverts, d’assiettes, de poêles, casseroles…, le lave-vaisselle • La buanderie (lave-linge, et même sèche-linge) • Dans le salon : suffisamment de sièges, canapé et une table très utile Nous avons moins apprécié dans le salon : • Le manque de confort des sièges (contexte de covid) • L’absence de télécommande pour la télévision (contexte de covid)

Wunderschöne Tage in der Ardeche

Mein Sohn und ich verbrachten 7 wunderbare Nächte im Les enfants du Barry/Estevan. Das Haus ist im Ort perfekt gelegen. In nur 2 Geh-Minuten erreicht man alle Geschäfte und Restaurants. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Nebst allem üblichen wie Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Tumbler, Bügelbrett etc., sind sogar Baby-Badewanne und Einkaufstrolley vorhanden! Es ist ein tolles Erlebnis in diesem Haus, mit den gewölbten Decken aus Stein, wohnen zu dürfen. Der Garten ist eine Oase der Ruhe und der Jacuzzi einfach famos. Francoise und Christian sind ganz unkompliziert und herzlich. Die Übernahme und Übergabe funktionierten tadellos. Was gäbe es zu verbessern? Bad/WC könnten schöner sein, Beleuchtung könnte heller sein, Garten etwas mehr gepflegt sein, Spinnweben und Spinnen könnten entfernt werden. Achtung Mücken: Wir waren im Oktober da und wurden von Mücken attackiert. Es empfiehlt sich daher Mückenabwehrmittel mitzunehmen. Haben wir dann in der Apotheke gekauft und die Mittel haben genützt.

Super Lage, toller Garten, Abgabe gestaltete sich etwas schwierig

Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen mit einem grossen Garten. Das Haus ist gepflegt, zweckmässig und sehr alt. Dicke Steinmauern sorgen dafür, dass es im Haus kühl ist, was in heissen Sommermonaten angenehm ist. Leider ist es dadurch drinnen auch ziemlich dunkel. Check-out gestaltete sich mühsam. Wir buchten mit der Option der Endreinigung, mussten aber trotzdem einige Dinge (im Kleingedruckten) selbst erledigen wie z.B. Bett- und Frotteewäsche zusammenfalten und Küchenherd reinigen.

Ein sehr schönes Gebäude, nah am Ortskern und viele Aktivitäten

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt bei diesem Gite genossen. Der Ort hat viel anzubieten, und im unmittelbare Nähe gibt die Gorges de l'Ardeche, berühmte Höhlen und viel mehr. Der Innenraum gefielen uns besonders gut. Der Gite hatte groszügige Ausstattung für ankommende Gäste, z.B. eine Flasche Wein im Kühlschrank.

Chargé d'histoire et magnifiquement rénové..

Chargé d'histoire et magnifiquement rénové et restitué, le gîte Estevan a comblé notre séjour à Vallon Pont D'Arc. Superbement aménagé et décoré, rien n'a été laissé au hasard quant au confort et à l'habitabilité du lieu. Rien n'y manque, pas même la trousse de couture ou le chariot de courses pour aller faire son marché dans le centre ville tout près. On en oublierait presque qu'on est loin de la maison tellement le souci du détail et du bien-être des locataires est pris en compte. Le jardin bien équipé et ombragé offre de belles opportunités de farniente quand le thermomètre décolle. Merci à Françoise et Christian pour tant d'attentions. Sonya et Antoine.

Logement idéalement situé à Vallon Pont d Arc pour découvrir les gorges de l Ardèche et ses trésors. Nous avons trouvé un appartement spacieux, très propre, bien équipé, au cœur de la ville. Le jardin est un vrai plus , tout à fait calme. Nous recommandons cette adresse
