Surrounded by olive trees several hundred years old, decorated with taste and refinement, and benefiting from every comfort, the Bastide Saint-Joseph will seduce you. Its 1700 m2 garden, planted with Mediterranean plants, and its magnificent swimming pool perfectly integrated into the site contribute to its charm. Away from the traffic, you will appreciate the calm. The shaded areas: terraces, pool deck, will offer you very pleasant places to rest.
Heated swimming pool, accessible from spring to early autumn, separated by a fence and a child safety gate. The outdoor living room and summer dining room with its pizza oven offer a very pleasant space for conviviality. A barbecue is also available. Children will enjoy the play area with a tree house, swings and slide. The car park on the property can accommodate up to 4 cars.
La Bastide is located close to all the main places to visit and only 15km from the nearest beach.
Generally the owners will welcome you on the day of your arrival. They are at your disposal to give you all the information you may need for the organisation of your holiday. The maintenance of the swimming pool and the garden is taken care of by them, thus relieving you of all worries. Water, electricity and gas charges are included in the price of your stay.
Linen is provided for the bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms.
A cot, high chair, baby bath and baby changing pad can be provided on request.
There is a free wifi internet connection.
A very meticulous care is given to the decoration and the cleanliness of the bastide.
Everything is done to provide you with an unforgettable holiday experience.

Agréable sejour

Agréable séjour dans cette maison. Dommage que autant de portes de placards soient fermées pour avoir plus de rangement et de devoir déranger les propriétaires pour avoir un balai. Sinon maison bien entretenue et facile à vivre pour 12 personnes

oui, nous nous excusons. Nous avions mis à votre disposition : aspirateur et balayette mais nous avions oublié un balai. Nous sommes, cependant, à disposition de nos vacanciers pour répondre au plus vite aux différentes demandes permettant de rendre les séjours de tous le plus agréable possible. Certains placards sont effectivement fermés au rez de chaussée car, comme nous vous l'avons indiqué, nous occupons cette maison en dehors de la période d'été. Des placards sont disponibles dans toutes les chambres, un grand placard double dans le hall d'entrée et des placards comprenant tout le nécessaire dans la cuisine. Quand toute la bastide est louée, vous disposez également de deux réfrigérateurs et d'un grand congélateur.

An excellent vacation with friends!

This place more than lived up to our expectation and the house with surrounding garden was even more beautiful than the pictures. We got a real "french-riviera vibe". Extra plus for the garden kitchen and outside sitting area. It is situated in the middle of everything and with our rental cars we had 10 - 30 minutes to everything we wanted to see; mountains, Nice, Antibes, Grasse, Saint Paul du Vence. The couple who rents out the house are warm and very easy to have to do with. Questions we had before our journey were answered quickly. Full points and a strong recommendation!

Nice house and very helpful hosts

We rented the house for a week and had a great stay there. It was big enough to easily accommodate 10 people plus a baby, with spacious common areas and a very nice pool area where we spent most of the days. Both the house and the garden was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well equipped as well as the patio with both barbeque and pizza oven. The patio was shaded which made it a nice and cool place to have lunch and dinners. You will need a car as the house is located at some distance from the village center. And you should also be aware of that the house does not have AC so some nights it was quite warm in some of the bedrooms. Still, we'd really recommend this place if you want a nice stay near the french riviera with nice and helpful hosts.

Thank you for this appreciation, however, we do not understand why it is reported that that the house does not have no current some nights. The tenants were not reporting this problem during their stay either at the time of their departure. The previous or next tenants not had any problems with electricity. There is of course a circuit breaker in the house to reconnect power if it has trip out. Moreover, we live very near and we are available to intervene if the tenants have a problem. La Bastide is in a quiet area at the end of a path and you can leave the windows and shutters open even to sleep. La Bastide is normally cool in summer and well heated in winter with underfloor heating.

Absolute Privatsphäre, höchster Charme & Comfort

Wir sind von diesem Anwesen überwältigt. Das Haus und der Garten liegen gesichert und geschützt am Ende einer Sackgasse. Das Auto kann auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden. Wir haben das Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern angemietet. Das Haus ist äußerst geschmackvoll und mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Die Schlafzimmer sind traumhaft und individuell ausgestattet. Unvergleichbar der Blick, wenn man morgens die Fensterläden öffnet und über Pool und Hügelland blickt. Die Küche ist perfekt und für ein Ferienhaus mit außergewöhnlich vielen und hochwertigen Geräten und Geschirr ausgestattet. Die überdachte Outdorküche verfügt über einen Pizza-Ofen und einer sehr einladenden und geschmackvollen Sitzgruppe. Garten und Pool können am Abend beleuchtet werden – ein Traum. In diesem Haus „residiert“ man. Der Pool ist außerordentlich lang und kommt ohne Chlor aus. Der Ort Le Rouret ist in ca. 5 Autominuten zu erreichen, hier finden Sie einen großen Supermarkt, Feinkostgeschäft und eine sagenhafte Boulangerie/Chocolaterie. Eine Bereicherung sind die Eigentümer, Familie Carassou-Maillan, die nebenan wohnten. Sie waren stets bemüht, dass wir einen unvergesslichen Urlaub erleben und haben uns mit Tipps versorgt. Wir haben ihre Anwesenheit und sympathische Gesellschaft sehr genossen. Dennoch genießen Sie absolute Privatsphäre! Wenn Sie den Kontakt selbst nicht suchen, werden Sie von Familie Carassou-Maillan nichts mitbekommen. Wir werden dieses Traum-Domizil auf alle Fälle wieder aufsuchen und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen! Merci beaucoup Francoise & Philippe!

Urlaub in stilvoller Villa mit idyllischem Garten

Wir verbrachten zu elft zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Das Ferienhaus wurde erst vor wenigen Jahren saniert und liegt etwa 10 bis 15 Gehminuten vom Ortszentrum entfernt am Ende einer kleinen und ruhigen Seitenstraße. Die Sicht vom Grundstück ist unverbaut. Zu sehen sind das typische provenzalische Hügelland, vereinzelte Villen und, etwas weiter entfernt, die südlichen Ausläufer der Seealpen. Grasse liegt gleich um die Ecke, in das atemberaubend gelegene Bergdörfchen Gourdon sind es 15 Autominunten, nach Nizza etwa 30 bis 40 Autominuten. Die Zimmer sind hell, sauber und bis ins Detail geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich bzw. Garten ist gepflegt, von außen kaum einsehbar und bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten in Ruhe auszuspannen oder ein Sonnenbad zu nehmen. Das ausgeklügelte Beleuchtungssystem lädt zum romantischen Nachtbaden ein. Der Pool war trotz der frühen Jahreszeit schon angenehm temperiert. Lediglich am Abend beginnt ein Quakkonzert der Frösche. Uns hat das nicht weiter gestört, im Gegenteil, unsere Tochter war begeistert. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

holiday with flair - beautiful villa

we spent our holiday there in 2012 (6 adults and 6 children at the age of 8 weeks to 13 years) - the whole villa and garden with swimming pool is perfect, tidy and clean and with beautiful and lovly bedrooms and enough space for all persons. By car you need approx. 5 min. to come to the bakery and supermarket and approx. 20-30 to come to the sea - very friendly and helpful owners - you arrive and fell even better than at home :-)

Trés agréable

On y a passé une semaine à trois couples avec 4 enfants en bas ages. La villa est suffisamment spacieuse pour être au calme malgré le nombre. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente chez soi. La décoration (intérieur et extérieur) est très agréable. Tout est mis à notre disposition pour passer une semaine avec bébés et enfants. La piscine est exceptionnelle. Tout est pensé pour les grands et les petits. Au niveau de la région, le cadre est fabuleux. L'une des plus belles régions de France à mon avis. Cette maison a d'ailleurs l'avantage d'être proche de l'arrière pays, où l'on peut avoir un panorama exceptionnel sur la côte, mais aussi proche de la mer. Les îles de Lerins, dans la baie de cannes, sont magnifiques (à faire absolument). Les fonds marins, la végétation et les cigales nous rappel sans aucun doute, que l'on est bien sur la côte d'azur. Les plus: -Une maison avec beaucoup de charmes -Une piscine et un jardin de toute beauté -L'accueil (très chaleureux et accueillant) -Implanter au cœur d'une région somptueuse où soleil et dépaysement sont garantis. J'y retournerai, c'est sûre!

Au top!

Une semaine dans un cadre de rêve avec amis et bébé. Une bastide comme on l'imagine, avec piscine et oliviers!! Très calme...idéale pour se reposer. Un intérieur léché...décoré avec beaucoup de goût et avec tout ce qui est nécessaire pour passer une semaine en famille avec bébé! Les propriétaires vous accueillent en vous présentant tous les charmes de la région et les visites à ne pas manquer. On a même eu droit au verre de vin d'orange maison qui met tout de suite dans l'ambiance. Les plus: - une partie indépendante qui permet quand on vient à deux familles d'avoir chacun son chez-soi tout en étant dans la même maison. - une plage avec très peu d'eau dans la piscine idéale pour les tout petits - le soleil garanti. Bref, beaucoup d'avantages pour un budget tout à fait abordable par rapport aux prix pratiqués dans la région. Prochain été, on revient =)

Excellente location (prestation, localisation)

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine en août 2012: - prestations de qualité haut de gamme (décoration, équipement, espace, très propre et comme neuf, meublée avec goût) - cette location est très bien située ce qui permet de bien visiter la région tant en bord de mer que dans l'arrière pays - le jardin est très agréable avec une grande piscine au calme et sécurisée ce qui est rassurant avec de jeunes enfants. Nous avions 3 jeunes enfants et tout le matériel était fourni ce qui est bien appréciable. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil de la part des propriétaires qui ont tout fait pour que notre séjour se passe dans les meilleures conditions. En résumé: une excellente adresse pour passer des vacances familiales ou avec des amis !
