About this property

Accommodation close to the center with in-house swimming pond and wonderful castle view

The near-center, almost quiet accommodation is located on a 5000 m² flat plot with parking. The swimming pond in the garden is 23 x 8 m and is also suitable for small children (but not fenced). Next to the swimming pond, a covered pergola invites you to linger. Many an evening has been spent here in good company with a glass of good wine.
Opposite the house there is a bike path along the Great Tulln to the Danube and on to Passau or Budapest. From here you can also go on hikes to the Buchberg with a shelter and lookout or the Kohlreith. Ultimately, it is a good starting point for all activities.

Wonderfull stay with a very hospitable owner

Excellent place for a holiday: country, castles and Vienna nearby. In summer a great swimmingpond and garden to relax in. As others have written: a bit dated inside the appartment; but all you need is there. Owner makes you feel very welcome; thanks Brigitta! (Tip: Ask her if she can get you tickets for the castle Neulengbach).

Ein kleines Juwel

die Einrichtung atmet zwar den Geist früherer Jahrzehnte, ist aber funktional und für eine Familie mit 2 kleinen Kindern und einem Hund durchaus geeignet. Das große Plus der Unterkunft ist der wunderbare Garten (allerdings nicht abgeschlossen) und der noch großartigere Schwimmteich, in dem links die Frösche und rechts die Menschen baden und der über ein eigenes kleines Kinderbecken verfügt. die Umgebung ist reizvoll, die Nähe zu Wien etc. ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Wir hatten allerdings fast nur gutes Wetter und können daher wirklich sagen: für uns hat es sehr gut gepasst. Danke!

Danke für den tollen Urlaub

Ich und mein Hund haben unseren Aufenthalt im Walnut Tree House sehr genossen. Das Haus ist leicht zu finden und liegt in Gehweite zum Zentrum von Neulengbach. Die Wohnung ist gut gepflegt und sauber gehalten. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist für Selbstversorger sehr gut. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch im Winter hat die liebevoll angelegte Außenanlage einiges zu bieten für eine kleine Runde mit Hund. Neulengbach ist nicht sehr groß, hat aber eine tolle Altstadt und schöne Wege für Spaziergänger zu bieten.

Nice house with beautifull view

Had a nice stay. Only disadvantage was that the house has no beds but sleeping couches. The house is perfect located to visit Vienna and eastern Austria. Landlady is is a very nice woman.

ganz gut mit Abstrichen, und dafür zu teuer

Positiv: Sehr schöne Außenanlage, großer Schwimmteich mit glasklarem Wasser, Grillplatz, überdachter Freisitz mit großem Tisch und mehrere kleine Sitzgruppen um den Teich herum. Ausreichend Liegestühle und jede Menge Sonnen- und Schattenplätze. Das Esszimmer ist ausreichend groß mit reichlich Platz für 6 Personen. Die Internetverbindung per WLAN war ausreichend schnell. Im Ort gibt es reichlich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf inkl. Bäcker am Sonntagvormittag. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und auskunftsbereit ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Negativ: Gewöhnungsbedürftige Raumaufteilung. Das Bad im Erdgeschoss hat keine Toilette, diese ist in einem extra Raum neben der Treppe. Im Bad gibt es keinen normalen Stromanschluss für z.B. einen Fön, sondern nur für einen Rasierapparat. Analog hat die Dusche im Obergeschoss kein WC. Dieses befindet sich ebenfalls im Nebenraum. Bei 6 Gästen müssen das "Relax- und Fernsehzimmer" und das "Balkonzimmer" als Schlafräume genutzt werden, da nur 1 echtes Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett vorhanden ist. Wäschetrockner und Waschmaschine stehen dem Gast nicht direkt zur Verfügung. Dafür kann die Wäsche zum Waschen abgegeben werden. Ein Staubsauger fehlt. Insgesamt ist ein gewisser Renovierungsbedarf nicht zu übersehen.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben ein sehr erholsameWoche im Walnut Tree House in Neulengbach verbracht. Besonders hat uns der wunderschön angelegte Schwimmteich und traumhafte Garten gefallen, an dem wir unsere Ausflüge und die Umgebung am Abend haben ausklingen lassen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die sympatische Vermieterin und der Housekeeper waren sehr freundlich und hilsbereit und haben uns gute Tipps gegeben. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.
