Spacious and Serene Lake Front Home Away From Home

Welcome new friends to my piece of serenity on majestic Sodus Bay, NY.
Last year I visited some friends on the bay and instantly fell in love with this area.
I had been looking for the perfect place that I could turn my dream of owning a lake house into a reality and quickly realized this was the perfect place. I love it so much that I would like to share this dream with others. I just know that as soon as you walk into this lake home retreat you will instantly fall in love with all it has to offer just like I did.

This four bedroom, two bathroom lake front home has tons of space for multiple families to enjoy together but cozy enough for a romantic getaway or intimate family vacation. There is a large eat-in kitchen fully equipped with everything you need and enough seating to fit 12 comfortably. The kitchen also includes a coffee station and is open to the living room with TV overlooking the deck and beautiful views of Sodus bay. Downstairs is a large game room with pool table, foosball table as well as board games and art supples to keep both the kids and grown ups entertained. This area can be closed off to the upstairs area for peace and quiet if needed. The 2nd bathroom and 4th bedroom is also downstairs with its own entrance to a private deck and the front lawn overlooking the bay. It includes a daybed with trundle, sitting area with pull out sofa, fireplace and large walk in cedar closet.

When you step outside you will be welcomed by the tranquil views of the bay that are breathtaking. There are endless places to take in the views from multiple levels. You can sunbathe, dine together, BBQ, play outdoor games or just find a space to relax on your own. From the upper living space you walk out onto the deck and from downstairs is another deck and patio. You can relax on the adirondack chairs on the grassy lawn or meander down the winding stairs that take you down to the expansive roof top terrace. Then there is another set of stairs again that take you down to the waters edge where you can fish right off the dock, swim and pull up your boats to the 2 boat hoists that are included. There is also 2 kayaks, water toys and fishing poles and nets available. Not to mention fire pits and a BBQ.
This house sits on a quiet no through road that means its very peaceful and has plenty of off street parking. It also is a 10 minute drive to the quaint village of Sodus point where you will find restaurants, museums, light house, a beach, diners and bars that have plenty of entertainment in the summer.
By boat you have many options to pull up and eat around the bay and also enjoy whatever water sports you fancy. If you don't have your own boat you can easily rent one from one of the marinas near by.
Being an Aussie I have never had the privilege of seeing the beauty that ice fishing brings to a frozen lake. I have discovered that this area not only has bought me so much joy in the warmer weather but also the fall and winter months. Every season brings its own magic and new things to discover.
The home is fully furbished with all the amenities you need including Fresh towels, beach towels and sheets. The only thing you need to bring with you is your food and clothes.
So from this lake home there should never be a dull moment...unless of course that is what you are looking for. You can fish, icefish, boat, kayak, paddle board, jet ski, swim, mountain bike, snow mobile, hike, run and much, much more. It is 45 minutes from Rochester and a little under an hour to Syracuse, not to mention all the wineries that upstate New York and the Finger Lakes have to offer. And it is also under 2 hours to Niagara Falls and the Canadian border.
