Charming Cottage on the Bay and Golf Course with private patio and boat dock.

This cottage is the perfect spot for the whole family to enjoy Sodus bay and the golf course. Enjoy the view and sounds of the water from your private deck, only steps away from the cooling waters of Sodus Bay. A new dock is going in this spring! Will fit two boats. If a view of the greens are what you crave , move to the other side of the house to relax at the edge of the 11th fairway on Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club. This is a public course but afternoon tee times should be booked well in advance.

Inside feels like a cozy log cabin with its knotty pine, large stone chimney, gas fireplace and water view. In the living room, there is plenty of seating to cozy up by the fire, soak up the tranquility of the water or its lights during the evening, get lost in a good book or share a movie. with loved ones. There is a huge master bedroom and bath on the main floor. Kitchen is fully equipped with paper products, condiments and spices. A spiral staircase leads to three additional bedrooms and full bath. For your convenience, clean sheets and bath towels are provided for all beds. We have upgraded the mattresses this year and added central A.C!

We really enjoyed our girl's weekend stay at Karen's cottage. We six ladies sitting around the outdoor gas fireplace in the evening was so nice. Plenty of room around the dining table and the livingroom was comfortable. Plenty of parking too.

Amazing stay

We checked in to a spotless house with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They thought of everything from towels to condiments to laundry detergent. The house was clean inside and out. Our questions were quickly answered and the owners were beyond accommodating.

Sodus Pt. stay

We were there for a memorial service. Our host was very attentive to questions. It was nice to have a quiet and peaceful place at the end of our days. We really enjoyed the deck! All in all it was a good experience!

Cottage had everything we needed, lots of space for 4 adults, great views, and lots of seating to enjoy coffee. Host are communicative and friendly. We had some issues with the front door handle, and they had it fixed within a couple hours.

This is an absolutely beautiful cottage. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves golf and water.

This is our third year staying in various places in Sodus. This is a nice place to relax with a great view of the bay. We brought our boat and parked in the private dock.

Nice cottage in beautiful location

Owners responded quickly to any of our concerns/questions. They provided all the essentials. The view was outstanding and the area provided us with a lot of fun activities. We especially enjoyed the golf course, Colloca Winery and the Sand Bar.

Disappointing Stay Despite Our Best Efforts

We were excited for our stay, but several issues made it disappointing. The plumbing was a major problem—a clog occurred, and we were wrongly blamed despite using appropriate materials. The kitchen sink also broke, causing a mess we had to manage ourselves.The house had a serious bug problem, and we had to buy spray to make it livable. There’s no AC in the common areas, and the old, noisy window units in the bedrooms made sleeping difficult. Also, the dock cannot realistically fit two boats as advertised.Overall, it was a stressful experience, far from the relaxing birthday weekend we had hoped for.

What an amazing view! Fireplace was wonderful and plenty of room to hang out. Host was not prepared for 30 degree temps on our first night, but in their defense, cottage is listed as 3-season and weather near the lake changes quickly. They are quick to respond to any issues, should they arise.
