A charming house is a beautiful area

We really enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable house. It had everything we could have possibly wanted. The beds were all very comfortable. Pool is small but all we needed to cool off. Only 15 minute cycle to the beach at Chef de Baie or to La Rochelle town centre. Very quiet area in general. The trains were for freight and were infrequent and passed quickly. None of us were disturbed by them. A small problem with the gate lock was very quickly rectified. Communication was excellent and lovely and friendly welcome and check out. Highly recommend, planning to come back. Thank you for hosting us.

Too expensive for the money. Hous next to train tracks and staff very rude

The location was near La Rochelle town and the Ile of Re, near a Domino pizza, near an express carrefour (very expensive though). The owner was nice and gave us some recommendations and some information on things to do near La Rochelle. Even though this was polite, you must speak French or use Google Translate all the time (be aware you might miss important information) because no one, I mean nobody, during the booking or at the house will speak to you in any other language. I speak 3 languages to mother tongue level and nothing. The house looks good, but it is not practical for a group of 8, it is small and it has a lack of bathrooms&showers. So be aware that even if it says fine for 8 people you will not be comfortable. The house is next to train tracks!!we stayed there for a week and we went on holiday to relax and enjoy. The trains during the week start passing at 5.20 am, the second one at 7.20 am, the third one at 9.00 am fourth one at around 11 am and then there is another wan after 1 or 2 pm. This changed all our experience. Due to the weather, we had to sleep with the windows open and with the train noise, it was just impossible to relax and have a good night's sleep. Finally, we were invaded on the checkout day at 9.30am by the cleaners, both unpolite and rude. They rushed us to leave and they started taking the towels & cleaning the bedrooms with us there. My kid could not finish his brekkie, we could not use the toilet. The owner/manager did nothing, said nothing

Je suis désolée de ces remarques concernant votre séjour . Concernant la taille de ka maison que vous critiquez :La maison fait 170m2. La pièce à vivre 60m2( sans compter le petit salon), les chambres du bas 16m2 et la suite parentale plus de 40m2…ce nest pas un château, mais est-ce vraiment trop petit pour 8 personnes ? Il y a 2 salles de douche, 1 baignoire à part et 3 WC…. 2e point, la communication :Vos cousins présents vivants en France, il est vrai que j ai parlé français, vous auriez pu me demander de traduire. Veuillez m excuser pour ce point. 3e point:Il y a quelques trains de marchandises, oui, comme precisé dans l annonce! Mais comme l attestent les appréciations des voyageurs précédents, ils ne gênent pas car ils passent très doucement et peu souvent. Quand à votre départ, les règles sont les mêmes pour tous les locataires afin de nettoyer correctement piscine et maison, le départ est à 10 heures. C est vrai vous avez été interrompus à 9h45 au milieu de votre petit déjeuner. Mais vous n êtes partis qu à 10h30, pour vous être agréable. Et vous avez eu accès aux sanitaires, puisque vous n avez pas tiré la chasse d eau en partant, ce qui est plutôt grossier! Peut-être étiez vous trop bousculés? Vous m avez demandé par mail,hors site( je peux le publier) un remboursement partiel, 10 jours après votre séjour pour ces soi-disant désagréments . Je l ai refusé, ce qui explique peut-être la mauvaise fois de cette appréciation.

La maison d Isabelle est bien équipée et spacieuse.elle est aussi bien placée avec la voie cyclable très proche. Néanmoins l absence de rideaux ou volets occultants dans les pièces et la très grande proximité de la voie ferrée avec le passage de trains des 4 à 5 heures du matin ont perturbé notre sommeil. Isabelle et Alia ont été très bienveillantes et réactives durant notre séjour

Tres jolie maison, tres bien décorée, grande et confortable. Le centre est a 10 minutes en velo. Malheureusement un train de marchandise y passe a proximité et a pas mal perturbé notre sommeil. Le mien surtt car deja fragile.

Tranquilité du sejour

Nous avons séjourné entre amis dans cette maison le temps d’un long week-end. L’emplacement est pratique, avec un stationnement facile pour deux voitures. Le cœur de La Rochelle se trouve à 35 minutes à pied. Le logement est spacieux et bien équipé, comprenant trois WC, deux douches et une baignoire. Quelques points d’amélioration ont été signalés au propriétaire lors de notre départ, et ont été pris en compte :- Le bruit sourd de la pompe de la piscine en fonctionnement la nuit a perturbé notre sommeil.- Un manque de placard vide pour ranger les provisions.- L’absence d’une cafetière adaptée aux grandes préparations de café du matin. La cafetière italienne mise à disposition ne fonctionne pas sur une plaque à induction.À noter :Le passage du train de marchandises n’est pas dérangeant, et la piscine n’est pas chauffée.

Merci pour votre appréciation Dommage qu elle soit un peu dure puisque la maison vous a plu. Il y a une cafetière Nespresso plus une cafetière italienne qui fonctionne sur la plaque à induction quand on utilise la plaque de contact qui est rangée dans le même placard. En effet certains plats à four n étaient pas rangés à leur place, et j ai resolu depuis le problème, pour qu il y ait un placard de cuisine vide à disposition. La piscine est en effet non chauffée comme précisé sur l annonce. Heureuse de vous avoir reçu et que votre séjour vous ait plus malgré le fait que vous vous soyez arrêté sur d infimes détails

Très bon sejour

Maison agréable , spacieuse ( espace de vie ou chambres) , avec toutes les commodités. Très bon échanges avec Isabelle avant et bon accueil a l’arrivée et au départ . Week end de Pâques entre amis parfait Le train de marchandises passe très doucement et pas souvent donc pas gênant.
