The apartment belongs to the grandson of Alfred Couttet, known as "Couttet Champion", born on 8 May 1889 in Rebats near Chamonix-Mont-Blanc and died on 7 June 1974. A great skier, alpinist, French guide and photographer who introduced to France the climbing techniques and equipment used in the Eastern Alps. He created the very first ski school in 1909.
