Peaceful Cove on Lake Chatuge-Dock-Hot Tub-Sauna

Beautiful lakefront home on pristine Lake Chatuge nestled in small cove in between Hiawassee and Hayesville. This home offers a private covered dock with safe swimming as there is very little boat traffic and waves. The lot and driveway are flat so no four-wheel drive needed and there is a garage for easy parking. The back yard is flat with grass for games for the entire family! There is a short brick path from the house to the dock. There is a fabulous fire pit near the dock for campfires, storytelling, and making s’mores!

On the main level, there is a living room with a gas fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare a large family meal to be served in the dining room which seats 8. The master suite is located on the main level with a king sized comfy tempurpedic bed, flat screen TV, large bathroom, his and hers separate closet spaces, and direct access to the back porch. There are 2 other bedrooms on the main level with queen beds that share a bathroom across the hall. If you must work while at the lake, there is an office with a desk and beautiful view of the lake and mountains. High speed internet/ WIFI/live streaming TV provided. The large upstairs porch is the highlight of the house with a swinging loveseat, dining table, gas grill, and stunning views.

On the terrace level, the family room has a wood burning fireplace and an extra-large couch for family movies that also contains a pull-out full-sized bed. There is one bedroom with twin beds if the kids want their own play area. The terrace level features an interchangeable pool/ping pong table as well as a card/poker table. It also has a 2nd kitchen, fridge, sink and dining table so you don’t need to run back upstairs for snacks.


If you decide to bring a boat with you there is room on the dock with buoys. There are several excellent boat rentals in the area including Boundary Waters, Young Harris Water Sports, and Lake Chatuge Marine. We have multiple life vests for you to use while boating and swimming.

Other provided activities include cornhole, bocce ball, frisbee, and football.

Check out Bell Mountain for breathtaking views, Brasstown Bald- the highest point in Georgia, Jackrabbit Mountain Recreation Area for hikes and mountain biking (less than a mile), Chatuge Dam, and many wineries in the area!

Pets are NOT ALLOWED FOR ANY REASON AT THIS RENTAL. Extra cleaning charges will apply if a pet is brought to the home.

No unauthorized parties, underage drinking and/or controlled substances of any kind will be permitted. No Smoking in the house, smoking is permitted outside and on the porch. Please use ashtrays provided. No refunds will be issued if you are asked to leave.
