About this property

Storybook Alpine Log Cabin

Nestled in the heart of nature, on the serene shores of Lake Chatuge, lies a hidden gem that tells a story of adventure, history, and comfort - the Storybook Alpine Log Cabin. This isn’t just any ordinary cabin tucked away in the woods; it's a piece of history, a slice of adventure, and an invitation to create unforgettable memories.

The Storybook Alpine Log Cabin is no ordinary vacation rental. Its walls whisper tales from the 1940s, having originated as an authentic World War II log cabin in Finland. Imagine the hands that have touched its logs, the stories it could tell. In the 1980s, it was carefully disassembled, journeying across the world to find its new home on Lake Chatuge, where it now stands as a testament to craftsmanship and history.

Describing this cabin as unique would be an understatement. It’s like stepping into a blend of an Alpine Black Forest Clock and a Jackson Hole Log Cabin. The cabin’s exterior and interior exude a rustic charm that’s both inviting and awe-inspiring. Its two queen bedrooms and a cozy loft with two twin beds make it the perfect escape for families or a small group of friends. The two bathrooms and fully stocked kitchen are ready for your family meals, ensuring that comfort is never compromised while you’re whisked away into a world of rustic elegance.

Picture this: after a day of exploring and boating from your private covered dock, you return to the cabin as the sun begins its descent, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. The evening calls for a gathering by the wood-burning fireplace, where laughter fills the air, and the warmth of the fire embraces you. As the night grows cooler, move the gathering outside to the firepit. There’s something magical about sitting under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the crackling of the fire, sharing stories and making memories.

Days at the Storybook Alpine Log Cabin begin with a moment of tranquility on the porch, sipping your morning coffee as the gentle breeze whispers through the trees. It’s a chance to disconnect, to breathe in the fresh air, and prepare for a day of adventure or relaxation, whichever calls to you. The surrounding area offers a plethora of activities, from boating and fishing to hiking and exploring, ensuring that every day is a new chapter in your storybook adventure.

The cabin doesn’t just offer a place to stay; it presents an immersive experience that blends the charm of the past with the comforts of the modern world. It’s a sanctuary where you can unwind, reconnect with nature, and make heartwarming memories with your loved ones. Whether you’re cuddling by the fireplace, sharing tales by the firepit, or enjoying a meal together in the fully stocked kitchen, every moment at the cabin becomes a cherished memory, a story to be told.

So why wait? The pages of your next adventure are ready to be filled at the Storybook Alpine Log Cabin on Lake Chatuge. Why Do You Need A Buyer's Agent?
First of All Having a Buyer's Agent Does Not Add to your Cost.
The seller along with the seller's agent pays the buyer's agent fee. Many buyers mistakenly believe they would get a better deal if they do not use a buyer's agent. They assume that since the seller has to pay the agent a commission, they would be willing to pass those savings on to the buyer if they do not use an agent. This is NOT true. In fact, seller's agents charge the same price regardless of whether or not you use an agent.

Here are a few things a buyer's agent does:

Helps you through the negotiating process. This is probably the most important part of having an agent represent you. The agent working for the builder or seller has one job and that is to sell you a home – maximizing the profits for their seller. You have to understand everything you're signing including addendums to the contract, possible delays, what would happen if your current home doesn't sell, etc. The most important thing to remember is that a buyer's agent helps walk you through everything step by step and works FOR YOU, not the seller.
Makes sure you don't overpay for a home. If you buy your home directly from the seller's agent they are only looking out for the seller's interests. A buyer's agent will provide you with valuable comparable properties and five you their opinion of the value.
Much, much more!
A buyer's agent is a valuable asset to any home purchase and should never be considered an unnecessary part of the process.

Respectfully,
Robbyn Allen
