About this property
4BR Beachfront Panoramic Water Views near Cape May and Wildwood
Overview Enjoy incredibly beautiful year-round panoramic views- right from the renovated kitchen and great room. Or hang out on the balcony- this house sits right on the beach/water, with a front row seat to the Delaware Bay and its ecosystem. Home to the best sunsets on earth! Popular spot for kayaking, paddle boarding, and birding. Since this is a shared triplex in a quiet residential community, it is suited to kind & quiet groups.
Area/Location The Villas is a small residential Delaware Bay community, 20 minutes from Cape May (2 beach tags included) and Wildwood beaches. The bay ecosystem is home to so many birds, horseshoe crabs, and sea life. We’ve even seen dolphins and eagles in the spring! Sunset walks are a must.
Although this part of the bay isn’t typically used for swimming, it is perfect for young children wading and water sports like paddle boarding and kayaking. Or drive 15-20 mins into the beach towns of Cape May and Wildwood to swim with lifeguards and surf the real waves! There are lots of local places to eat, grab ice cream, rent bikes or paddle boards, etc.
Indoor Inside, you can hang out and enjoy the view from two comfy sectionals, a dining table that seats 10, or the breakfast bar with four stools.
Big sliding glass doors, screens, and windows everywhere allow you to experience the outside environment, while still inside. At high tide, it looks like you’re on the bow of a ship! At low tide, you can walk out on the bay halfway to Delaware (ok not quite that far, but it’s wonderful to feel like you’re standing in the middle of the ocean). Early summers brings thousands of horseshoe crabs to lay eggs on the shoreline right in front of the house- and birds to feed on them!
Bedrooms
The primary bedroom has a new king bed, 2 bedrooms have comfy/newer queen beds, and the fourth has a twin over full bunk. Every bedroom has a water view, but two are quite small, so please pack light! Bed linens and bath towels are included, but please BYO beach towels.
Baths
Two full baths: one is a tub/shower combo and the other is a glass surround shower. The kitchen and great room were fully renovated in 2021, and the entire unit was newly decorated then too.
TV
Fast WiFi and Apple TV (no cable), with a bonus smaller tv in the bunkroom if you want to bring and plug in your gaming system.
Linens
Bedding and bath towels are provided. This includes sheets, quilts/comforters, washcloths, and bath towels.
Outdoor Some beach toys, umbrellas, and many beach chairs are available for use. Outdoor hose/shower, two large picnic tables, comfy seating, lawn games, and large outdoor grill inside a shared yard.
EV A Universal Tesla charger is available to guests in any of the units. Seamlessly transitions between NACS and J1772 connectors, accommodating all major North American EVs including Tesla Vehicles. Integrated J1772 adapter to conveniently charge any electric vehicle. Since this charger is open to all, it will require coordination between guests when more than one EV user is staying on the property, but there is no extra usage charge.
Rentals Summer bookings between mid-June and Labor Day are weekly Sat-Sat rentals unless there are last minute open dates. We are unable to host parties or events, including bachelor/bachelorette weekends, senior weeks, etc. Parties are not permitted on this property.
Additional Unit on Property If available, there is an additional 1 bedroom apartment (with its own private bath, living room, kitchen and patio) downstairs- the patio sits right under the deck and also on the beach with similarly gorgeous water views. We offer a 10% discount to anyone also renting upstairs at the same time. Great set-up for extended family members to connect or see each other while still having privacy. You can click on my profile on VRBO to see this listing.
Storms Please note that since the house is right on the water, storms can be impressively forceful! You may be asked to bring items indoors before severe storms, but we can usually get there to do it or help if needed. We do open the house year-round, but we don’t control the weather! So before booking, please consider how comfortable your group would be with front row seats if there is a storm while you are there. Unfortunately, we cannot refund for poor weather, but we highly recommend trip insurance and can give you some great rainy day ideas. :)
Required Rental Agreement To maintain your reservation, a link to a rental agreement will be sent to you. This rental agreement must be fully filled out and returned within 48 hours of booking in order to keep the reservation. Failure to complete or sign will result in a cancelled reservation. Please click on the Additional Rules section of this listing to see the exact terms of rental agreement prior to booking.
Guest access Rental includes access to 4br 2BA top floor unit with private balcony, driveway parking spots, lots of adjacent on-street parking, outdoor grill, yard, and picnic tables.
Private to your unit: Stairs/entrance, balcony, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, great room, laundry, parking pad (with exception if/when other unit needs EV charging spot).
Shared on property: Outdoor hose & shower, EV charger, yard, picnic tables, loungers and yard games. Although these are technically shared, they are typically only used by guests in the 4 bedroom unit, as the 1 bedroom unit has a private balcony.

Why they chose this property
Purchased a few weeks into the pandemic, I’ve found so much beauty and peace in this spot. The views are absolutely amazing, the changing landscape and horeshoe crabs are fascinating, and the sunsets are the best on earth.
What makes this property unique
Being so close to the water, the waves kiss the property line at high tide. You can take sunset walks every night and see a different color palette.
