Relaxing family getaway

We loved our stay at the Retreat at Barrett Place. The condo was beautiful and extremely spacious. It was quiet and clean. It was perfect for our family vacation. The kitchen has everything you might ever need. We loved having our morning coffee or an evening cocktail on the deck. The only problem we had was that the washing machine was broken and leaking water all over the floor when we arrived. Also, a dirty wet towel had been left inside it. We called down to the management company to let them know. They sent someone up immediately to clean up the mess and “put in a work order”. We checked several times on the status of getting it fixed and were always told “a part had been ordered”. However, in our 7 night stay, we never had a working washing machine. With a family of four going to the beach and pool every day, this was an unfortunate inconvenience on our vacation. The management company did take our laundry and have it washed it for us once but it was not convenient and took quite a long time to get it back. They did bring us clean beach towels to use, which was nice. Despite not being able to do laundry, we loved our stay. We plan to come back and would highly recommend the Retreat! It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing trip to Rosemary Beach!
