Nittany, coffee at Cafe Lemont and/or dinner at Kamri Thai and Sushi House, Happy Valley Brewing or the Voodoo Brewery! It's all here. This cute cape cod was built in 1946 and has been completely renovated. A firepit and patio for relaxing outside. If you have 6 or 7 guests coming, we will open up the basement for you to use, so you will have an extra bedroom, bathroom and living room!

About the host
Hosted by Cheryl Gigante

Hi! My name is Cheryl and I am a mom of four boys and love all things outdoors. I have lived in State College for the past 25 years. I love people and especially to host people and when the opportunity came up to purchase and renovate the property next door to us, my family jumped on it. It was our Covid project and kept us busy for the first 6 months of it. I wanted to make it a space for families and friends to be comfortable so they can have quality time together. So, we opened it up as a short term rental and have loved it! Because of my love for people and homes in this area, I am also a realtor through a local brokerage, so if you need any help, just let me know!
Why they chose this property
The beauty of this property is the gentleman that lived there for his whole life and the stories that came out of it as we neighbored together. The house is quaint and cute with backyard that is perfect for feeling like your just literally sitting at the base of Mt. Nittany. Our house is literally right next door, so we have had the opportunity to meet such incredible people from around the world through this!
What makes this property unique
This place is so close the campus, but yet your surroundings are surreal with birds, flowers, lots of trees and Mt. Nittany in the background!
