Amy arrived and complained on her second day for a cockroach, requiring full reimbursement. Cockroaches are serious topics in Southern countries in general, in our place in particular. No single cockroach had been seen or reported after the whole blockhaus has been treated, except this very one specimen, meaning the threshold for full reimbursement was not reached from our perspective. Amy and I agreed the website shall decide on how to handle our rental agreement any further. The website was sollicitated and contacted me only one week later. Few hours only before Amy was to depart from the apartment, did she claim again for full reimbursement. I do not figure exactly out who stays for the whole duration and then claims for a full reimbursement at checkout. The website didn't support her request. However, I took the initiative of a 20% refund and received an angry mail from Amy, stating that she never agreed any partial refund. Sad for fully supporting neither Amy's view nor behaviour.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment may look slightly dated in the pictures, however it does not feel that way at all—it is much nicer in person. It is comfortable, spacious and very well equipped, with quality appliances in good working order. The terrace has stunning views, and the lovely shared pool is a definite plus. The location is excellent, just steps from a calm beach, bars and restaurants, and it is also a great base for exploring the beautiful mountain roads to Deià and Valldemossa. The host was friendly and always contactable. There are quite a few stairs, which you should consider if you have mobility difficulties, our children were fine going up and down. Overall, a wonderful apartment in a beautiful location.

Great stay!

Construction next door can be loud, but the host gave us plenty of notice, with the option to withdraw our reservation. It was more than fair, and we appreciated the communication. We stayed anyway, the place was great, and the construction only motivated us to get up and enjoy this beautiful place. Enjoy!

Very sad of this appreciation for the noise outside are out of our reach and responsibility. I personally arrived onside 09.07.2024, the noise is fully and entirely bearable, nothing dramatic that would justify a -20%. Despite our acceptance, the guest didn't attempted any relocation with the website as they pretended they wanted to. And despite our discount, the guest doesn't distinguish what belongs to our responsibility from what is from the outside; and doesn't write her comment with such segregation. First time relationship with guest has been harder, first time I offer a discount, first time ever I have regrets.

Beautiful apartment with amazing view

We are a family of four, who stayed in Barbaras apartment for one week in August. Everything was just perfect, good communication with the owner, easy self check-in, location just across the beautiful beach. We appreciate that the owner offered us a late check out on our last day, as we hadde flight late in the evening. Apartment is specious and well equipped, air conditioner works well. The best part of the apartment is big terrace overlooking the bay. We will definitely come back!

Mallorca for 50!

We were a group of 4 adults and this property fit all our needs. We were there in a heat wave so the air conditioning was needed. Having 2 bathrooms was perfect for 3 girls getting ready while my husband was able to get bathroom time. The apartment came with everything that we needed. To my pleasant surprise there were outside cats that filled my pet void. Yes there are lots of steps which will give you a workout. You really do make sure you have everything before you step out the door. The location of the apartment is close to the beach. Walking the promenade of shops

Well equipped apartment but 121 steps to reach it

This is a well equipped and maintained apartment. It is on the side of the port which catches the morning sun so is in the shade for most of the day. This would be an advantage in the summer but was rather cold in May. The bedding was damp as a result and the overall temperature was chilly. The apartment is in a complex which is built on a steep slope so we were surprised this was not mentioned in the details. We had to carry our luggage up 121 steps which was a challenge. We would not have booked this apartment if we had known as my partner is unwell and I had recently recovered from surgery and radiotherapy. However, we were fitter at the end of the holiday but the climb left us exhausted which is not really what you want.

many thanks for your feedback Elizabeth. The 100 steps are plainly mentioned in the description of the apartment ; it appears though that numerous guests book on photos instead of reading it all. The rock on which the buildings are built brings some humidity over the winter, this is true. So true is also that we usually come over within a couple of hours only in April or May by opening windows for few hours then taking advantage of the drying and/or heating function of the air conditioning. Sorry that you didn't reach us back at once, it would have allowed us to pass it over to you

Tranquil, relaxing with amazing views

We are a family of 4 who stayed in Barbara’s 2-bedroom condo for 9 days. We absolutely loved this place. It was spacious enough not to feel on top of each other. The terrace with the view on the bay, beach and boats was amazing. It was specious to have a table with 6 seats and a love seat with couple of end tables. We enjoyed having breakfast there every morning and occasional dinners. The kitchen was very well equipped with anything you’d need for your stay. Dishwasher came in handy for our family of 4. There is a washer and dryer as well which was very helpful since We came with carry-on luggage only which is a easier to carry up the stairs. And there are quite a few - about 100. It sounds like it’s a lot, but quite frankly, once you came up couple of times was not such a big deal and helped with keeping us in shape after all the delicious food we had in Port de Soller. Also seeing the sea, the beach and boats beneath on your way down made the trip downstairs very pleasant. Additionally, the host was very helpful and very quick to respond. We’ll definitely return there.

Sehr zentral gelegene Unterkunft Terrasse war der Hit, weil man am Morgen draussen Kaffee trinken konnte Wohnung ist super 110 Stufen bis zur Wohnung: das muss man sich bewusst sein! Parkplatz ist sehr eng => nur für schmale Autos geeignet

Komplett ausgestattete Ferienwohnung

Wir waren mit unserer Unterkunft in Soller sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung war mit allem, was man benötigt ausgestattet. Angefangen beim Kinderstuhl über die mit Küchengeräten komplett bestückte Küche bis zum Sonnenschirm war alles vorhanden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr familienfreundlich und für kleine Kinder gut geeignet.

Absolument parfait!

Franchement et en toute objectivité nous ne nous attendions pas à un séjour aussi réussi à tous points de vue. L'emplacement de Port Soller est idéal. A 30 minutes de voiture de Palma, et la grande plage est à 3 minutes à pied de l'appartement. L'ambiance y est familiale et reposante, en tout cas au printemps. Il y a de très nombreux restaurants sur la baie, et une épicerie SPAR bon marché, ainsi que quelques autres commerces. Le restaurant de plage au bas de la résidence ( Es Reco) est vraiment délicieux (poissons frais, produits de la mer, notamment). Le bourg de Soller est à 5 minutes de voiture et offre beaucoup d'autres ressources. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié aussi la proximité de la montagne de la Tramuntana, qui offre de magnifiques points de vue, des villages splendides, et de multiples possibilités de randonnées plus ou moins sportives. De belles promenades sont possibles avec un départ à pied depuis la résidence. Le logement en lui même n'est pas du tout impersonnel comme peuvent l'être certaines locations proposées par des sociétés commerciales ou des investisseurs professionnels. Il est meublé avec goût dans des tons estivaux, avec de jolis tableaux originaux aux murs. S'agissant d'un appartement utilisé par ses propriétaires, il est chaleureux et fonctionnel, et donne parfois envie d'y rester pour profiter de la vue depuis la terrasse plutôt que de sortir... La résidence est très calme et nous avons très bien dormi. Une place de parking privative est proposée, mais son accès est un peu délicat pour un véhicule de grande largeur. Du reste nous avons toujours trouvé une place dans la rue. Il faut enfin signaler que l'appartement n'est accessible qu'après avoir gravi 85 marches environ, ce qui ne permet pas l'accès de personnes à mobilité réduite. Enfin, nous avons été accueilli partout dans l'île avec bienveillance et nous nous sommes sentis partout en sécurité. Les propriétaires ( français je crois) ont été tout à fait charmants. Au total, nous sommes absolument enchantés.

Schöner Urlaub

Wir haben 2 sehr schönen Wochen mit unseren 4 Kindern in Port de Soller verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung war ganz schön, gross genug, es war alles vorhanden zum Kochen und was man so braucht und die 100 Treppenstufen haben einen leichten Fitness Effekt nach 2 Wochen. Der Weg zum Strand/zur Promenade war aber wirklich nicht weit. Wir würden wiederkommen :-). Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett, wir konnten jederzeit Fragen stellen.

Port Soller in April 2015

Wir verbrachten zwei Personen eine schöne Woche Ende April dieses gute Gelegenheit , mit guter Aussicht , viel Platz , eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit allem, was wir brauchten. Wir waren von der nette Vermieter begrüßt und bekam eine Menge Tipps und mehr nötig sind, um unseren Aufenthalt gut zu machen. Port Soller ist nur ein schöner Ort zu sein, wenn Sie zum Wandern und genießen Sie gutes Essen und Wein und genießen Sie einen angenehmen Spaziergang entlang der Küste , wo es die ein gutes Restaurant nach dem anderen gefallen . So können wir diese Wohnung , nicht weit vom Strand und schönen Stadt empfehlen .

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Wir haben gerade 2 wunderschöne Wochen in dieser geschmackvoll eingerichteten und gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung verbracht, in der man bis mittags die Sonne auf dem Balkon genießen und auf das Meer und die Berge schauen kann. Die Wohnung ist mit einem hellen Landhaussofa und ausgesuchten _Antiquitäten ausgestattet und an den Wänden hängen sehr schöne selbstgemalte Bilder. Der kurze Weg über die Treppen zum Strand war für uns ideal, da unsere Kinder (6 und 8) noch viel Zeit am Strand verbringen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und waren bemüht, uns vor Ort eine nette Ansprechpartnerin zu vermitteln, was auch geklappt hat. Die Kinder haben sich in ihrem liebevoll eingerichteten Kinderzimmer sehr wohl gefühlt und wir hatten vom Elternschlafzimmer aus einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Bucht und konnten die Morgensonne genießen. Die Wohnung eignet sich für Paare, Familien mit Kindern, aber nicht für Leute, die Probleme beim Treppensteigen haben, da man nur über die Treppen in die Wohnung gelangt. Ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge und ein netter kleiner Ort zum Verweilen mit vielen schönen Cafes und Restaurants.

Sehr angenehmer Gesamteindruck

Wir haben die Wohnung zu zweit vom 19. bis 26. September 2014 bewohnt und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ferienwohnung bietet alles, was einen Urlaub angenehm macht - und sogar noch ein bisschen mehr. Die Küche ist üppig mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet und sogar Basics, wie Gewürze usw. waren vorhanden. Man spürt, dass es keine "kalte, sterile" Ferienwohnung ist, sondern, dass dort auch "gewohnt" wird. Gleiches gilt für die beiden Schlafzimmer und Bäder, wobei wir - da nur zu zweit - jeweils nur eines genutzt haben. Auf Grund der angenehmen Temperaturen haben wir uns hauptsächlich auf dem Balkon/Terrasse aufgehalten. Dies ist ein wunderbarer Platz mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die (Yacht)Hafenbucht und den Ort Porte de Soller. Zu der Wohnung gehört auch noch ein kleiner Garten, der das Ambiente sehr schön abrundet. Zur Lage ist noch zu erwähnen, dass man in fünf Minuten einen kleinen Strand unten im Ort erreicht und so auch mal - z.B. nach dem Aufstehen und vor dem Frühstück - schnell mal eine Runde schwimmen kann. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und die Abwicklung der Anmietung war unkompliziert und seriös. Wir können die Wohnung ohne jede Einschränkung weiterempfehlen. Sie ist ein idealer Platz, um ein paar ruhige und entspannte Tage auf Mallorca zu verbringen. Trotz der ruhigen Lage sind es nur wenige Gehminuten bis in den Ort Porte de Soller mit Restaurants, Kneipen, Bars und Geschäften. Danke für die schöne Zeit dort - gerne wieder.
