great location in medieval Domme, easy parking nearby, friendly and responsive host, small residence with character, internally rather DIY style, courtyard very small and a little bleak, upstairs window has low threshold and is hazardous for small children.

Fantastic location

The location is really excellent, parking is convenient. Domme is truly lovely, a must visit place. The air conditioning was a welcome bonus.

What a location

The hilltop bastide of Domme is a magnet for tourists, and in the middle of the day I guess it could feel a little busy. But to awake there in the still of a balmy summers morning, when the medieval town is quiet and empty, to wander up to the shops or cafe for breakfast, to look out over the wide Dordogne valley....it's just heaven. One day we were even blessed with the most awesome cloud inversion! Such a treat to stay there.

Very disappointed with Property

Domme is probably the loveliest place we have ever stayed. The location of the property was superb and the Car Park facility excellent. All communications ahead of our arrival was excellent.But, I doubt we will have enough space within this box to list all our disappointment with the property so this is a brief synopsis, we can supply a more detailed list: There was a dreadful smell within the property, possibly drainage or from under the ground which is in poor condition in several areas: It was generally dirty and in need of a deep clean: Bedding was stained: The sitting room chairs were dowdy: The outside yard was unusable due to the weeds and the state of the walls and the drain: The top of the staircase and entry to the first floor bedroom was seriously dangerous, a major health and safety risk: The planter at the front of the property was full of weeds: The WiFi did not connect automatically as stated: Not as pictures advertised on your site!

Séjour au cœur de DOMME

Notre séjour c’est très bien passé par rapport au village, le logement est limite, ce n’est pas très cosy, les lits sont très bas, salle d’eau et wc très petit , le logement est mal isolé et mal fini, fuite d’eau (par temps de pluie) les revêtements de sols posés à l’arrache. Dommage, il est bien placé dans le ce village Athypique

On vous remercie pour votre commentaire qui nous a un peu surpris car vous n’avez pas fait part de cela a la Dame qui vous a accueillis à l’arrivée et au depart . Elle nous a dit vous étiez tous bien sympa et tres content de votre sejour. .Cette toute petite maison dans Domme a deux etages et a ete refaite a fond l’an dernier chambres ,salle de bains et cuisine modernisée bien équipée frigo micro onde et four avec plaque a induction .dans les chambres , lits et literie neuf .télévision a chaque etage .. et il y a la clim et chauffage neuf .Nous vous fournissons tous le linge maison et bain et des biscottes et confiture cafe dosettes lait eau serviettes papier et du vin et pâté du pays pour vous remercier de votre séjour. C’est bien vrai le village médiéval de Domme est tres Beaux .

Logis du Guet

Merci pour les cadeaux de bienvenue et votre gentillesse. Il manque un meuble pour défaire les valises surtout quand on vient quinze jours et qu'il n'y a pas de machine à laver. Notre séjour a été un peu beaucoup gâché par des ouvriers très bruyants derrière la maison dès 7h30. Les places de parking sont très rares même quand on a une autorisation pour les parkings réservés aux résidents. Domme est une très jolie bastide et nous regrettons ces quelques désagréments qui ne sont pas du fait des propriétaires du gîte.

2 Wochen in Domme

Das Haus eignet sich nicht für einen Aufenthalt von mehr als ein paar Tagen. Es fehlen Schränke/Kommoden, um Kleidung zu verwahren. Durch die undichte Haustür konnten abends bei Licht Insekten/Wespen eindringen. Das Brett auf dem der Fernseher im Schlafzimmer des Erdgeschosses stand, war gefährlich in Kopfhöhe angebracht. Man konnte sich nachts daran verletzen. Positiv war die zentrale und trotzdem ruhige Lage sowie die Parkmöglichkeit in unmittelbarer Nähe. Außerdem die Hilfsbereitschaft von Frau Alcidia Pereira, die einige Mängel schnell beheben konnte.
