The location of this home is a perfect launching point for daily adventures in the Anchorage area and offers quick access to the Seward Highway. Chugach State Park hiking trails are a short 10-minute drive away. The home is 15 minutes from Downtown Anchorage and 10 minutes from the airport.

The unique design of this home includes white washed pine tongue and groove ceiling, a spiral staircase and special Alaskan accents. Windows and French doors fill the home with light from every corner all year round. Home is nestled on a large lot with mature birch trees, charming landscaping and a fully fenced-in yard. The southwest facing front law is perfect for relaxing outdoors and enjoying the summer sun.

Great house, in a quiet location close to the highway and daily shopping. House was stocked with towels, toiletries, coffee bar, dishes, pans etc... We thoroughly enjoyed our trip (July 2025)

This was a really nice place to stay. Josi was great and it was very clean. I would stay here again. There were several small repairs needed but they weren't really a big deal. She offered to have someone come and do one of the repairs while we were there, but we didn't feel like we wanted to worry about the interruption. I'd probably give it a 4.6, but there's just some regular maintenance that needs to happen. She'll probably take care of it over the winter so still very much recommend this as a great place to stay. Nice neighborhood and very easy access to the freeway.

Location was ideal for our sightseeing around Anchorage and Whittier. The furniture though was not exactly matching the photos. The couch was old and saggy while sitting. The dining table was also different. Our main issue was dog hairs covering the couch and we noticed after sitting down and got them on our pants. We vacuumed the couch and used bedsheets to cover it before sitting down again. The house also had very strong smell, we're guessing from cooking spices. We went to buy some candles to light through our stay. One of the kitchen cabinets was also broken. We called our host and first she was contacting the cleaner but then she came by with lint rollers. I think the place needs some love.

Property was very clean. Perfectly sized and well appointed. Listing stated there was a trundle bed in one bedroom but much to our delight all bedrooms had queen beds. Great for 3 couples.

Great spot for a family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house! It was us, another couple, our two babies, and a dog and was the best spot. The yard was fully fenced for the dog. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone visiting Anchorage!

Great Find

We loved our stay in this house. We had 5 adults and the house had plenty of room for all of us. It is near to all main roads and easy to access restaurants, shopping and nearby attractions. It was the best stocked home we have ever stayed in and the dogs loved the large fenced in yard.

Alaska Family Adventure

Fabulous property, perfectly located for our base camp. We took trips down the Turnagain Arm, to Whittier and spent time in Girdwood and Anchorage. Our grandson wanted to move in (he was obsessed with the spiral staircase). Thank you for the wonderful stay - we played lots of Jenga!
