Accessed via an entrance hall, with family bathroom, and a separate staircase to small twin bedded room There is a double mezzanine bedroom within the main living area which overlooks the garden and with a 'birds eye ' view of the village Church and Mill. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for your stay, with the garden an ideal place to relax 5mins walk you will find the boulangerie to buy your fresh bread and croissants each morning, also basic supplies such as butter, eggs, pate, water etc..... The well know restaurant L'Estaminet Andouille serves traditional french cuisine and has a friendly bar for you to enjoy a glass of wine or beer during the day, either inside in the very traditional interior, or on the outside covered terrace.

Why they chose this property
Our home is located in a small village of about 300 inhabitants of which there is a mix of permanent and holiday homes owned by French, Belgian, Dutch and English residents We are only just over an hour from Eurotunnel and 1 1/2 hours from Calais port This area known as the 'Seven Valleys', is very pretty with forests, lakes and rivers, with numerous small villages to visit and enjoy what each has to offer
What makes this property unique
The market town of Hesdin is about 20mins drive offering several supermarkets to stock up on your supplies, a weekly market with a large selection of stalls. Local produce of Fruit, vegetable, cheeses, charcuterie with regional specialities.... The beautiful old fortified town of Montreuil-sur-mer is 30 mins drive, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area from the top of the Ramparts, which encircle the whole town. There are many small shops, good restaurants and wine Cave's to enjoy. Then of course there is Le Touquet (Paris Plage) about 50 mins drive. With its beautiful town with amazing shops, numerous restaurants and bars, Casino, and of course the beautiful beach to walk off a good lunch! The beautiful golden beaches of Berck and Merliment are approx 30 minutes drive and the pretty fishing ports of St Valery sur Mer and Le Crotoy approx 50 minutes drive
