Charming house in the quiet of a country village, close to Fontainebleau, Nemours and Pithiviers

La Maison Bleue is a small outbuilding of an old farmhouse. Through the old barn, it was transformed and extended in 1993. Warm thanks to its antique furniture and bright, it offers 300 m² of large living spaces, surrounded by two enclosed gardens. Ideal for accommodating up to 12 people.

Open all year round for stays of two nights or more, with family or friends. Everyone will find their place to rest, meditate, cook, telework, swim and share convivial moments.

Arrival and departure times
• Arrival: from 5 p.m. (no time limit, but an approximate time is desired in order to welcome you without waiting).
• Departure: before 12 noon.
Depending on the availability of the house, it is sometimes possible to bring the arrival forward a little or to delay the departure a little.

Living in the house opposite La Maison Bleue, I will be happy to welcome you on the day of your arrival. You can easily contact me if needed throughout your stay.

Home maintenance and care
Cleaning and laundry fees are included. We simply thank you for leaving the house in a clean condition, in order to avoid any possible surcharges.

Thank you for taking care of the furniture: coasters and dishes are at your disposal to avoid traces of water and grease, which require a long repair work.

Deposit
€1,000 to be handed over on the day of arrival (returned within 10 days of departure if no damage is found).

Swimming pool
• Dimensions: 4 m × 8 m — Depth: 1.60 m
• Open from May to September
• Under ESPIO Sensor alarm in accordance with the NF P90-307-1:2009
• Heat pump in addition: €12/day (turned on before arrival and/or during the stay)
• Bath towels available for rent: 3 €/person/day

Pets
Kind and respectful pets – like their owners – are welcome! Please report their presence before your arrival.
For the comfort of all, in addition to one animal, a small contribution of €5/day and per additional animal is requested.

Events
The Maison Bleue lives at everyone's pace, but if you want to celebrate a small event between you, please let me know.

When you arrive
• Mineral water in each room
• Towels placed on the beds made
• In the bathrooms: soap and hairdryer
• In the kitchen: supermarkets (salt, pepper, mustard, vinegar, oil, coffee, tea, sugar)
• Cleaning products provided: washing-up liquid (hand and machine), rubbish bags, toilet paper

Layout of the house
• Ground floor:
o Living / dining room of 80 m² (street side), garden view and access to the swimming pool through bay window
o Large kitchen opening onto the pool garden
o 1st bedroom with direct access to the garden, swimming pool + walk-in shower room with WC
• Upstairs:
o Mezzanine office above the living room
o Master suite (2nd bedroom) with garden/pool view, private bathroom (bath, Italian shower, separate toilet)
o Bathroom (bath/shower + separate toilet) shared by the 3rd and 4th bedrooms
o 3rd bedroom: garden/pool view
o 4th bedroom: street and garden/pool view, access to the 5th bedroom on the mezzanine
• Dining room and kitchen:
o Large table for 12 guests
o Living room with fireplace, sofas, armchairs, coffee table
o Fully equipped kitchen: Lacanche piano-type stove with 2 ovens (gas and electric), microwave, American refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, classic filter coffee maker, plancha, table and chairs for 4 to 6 people, kitchen linen (tea towels, potholders, tablecloths, placemats), iron and ironing board.

Facilities for young children
Travel cot, small bathtub and high chair available on request.
