This property is perfect for large groups! Fully equipped custom kitchen with a massive granite island, ready to host multiple chefs, 200" screen movie theatre, hot tub, cold immersion tank, 36” griddle & Air Fryer, fireplace, pool table, darts, poker table, foosball, corn hole game, giant jenga, basketball & pickleball courts, $100 per PET Fee, $50 per night extra after the 16th guests & damage protection insurance, $500 REFUNDABLE house rules deposit under Administrative fee.
COVID-19: UV, HEPA filters & Anti-viral are used to disinfect surfaces after each guests.

The space

Relax in a PET FRIENDLY Ranch property after an adventurous day in your private Theatre Room with 200” projector screen, surround system and voice activated Fire TV Cube/Alexa 4K Ultra HD and wireless streaming and comfy recliner seats. PRIME TV, ESPN +, DISNEY + and HULU. School your friends in a game of billiards, darts and poker. Invigorate your senses & relax your muscles in the cold immersion tank and hot tub. Roast s'mores over the natural rock fireplace, or cook some dinner for the group using the 36” griddle & Air Fryer, and custom kitchen w/ brick accents, built-in appliances and massive leather granite island! Most kitchen tools and utensils are provided.

All themed rooms are uniquely designed, equipped w/ tv, comfortable & spacious and private. Towels and linens are provided but please bring your own towels for cold immersion tank and hot tub.

The knotty pine massive beams and wooden floors provide incredible acoustics for the professionally tuned 1922 Monarch Player Piano with real ivory keys.

The living room has a 3 way gas fireplace set on a massive natural stone fireplace that has it's own foundation.
The spacious master bedroom has a 2 way fireplace sharing it with a resort style bathroom with jacuzzi tub and rain shower.

We welcome PETS and have a dog run in the backyard next to the jacuzzi. There is a fee of $100 PER well behaved pet for the duration of your stay. If you don’t pickup after your pets it will be an additional $100 fee per pet. There is a dog run with a waste basket.

Outside quiet time is 10 pm to 7 am. if guests were warned 3 times, they will lose their $500 deposit. Police will remove guests from property
Guest to provide selfie w/ driver's license before checkin. NO unregistered guests or parties. Please NO smoking inside the house, sauna and jacuzzi.
Hot tub misuse service charge $150, Pool table misuse $500 charge. Any damages over $500 will go through VRBO Insurance

Weekend Reunion

A lovely spacious and private cabin located a short drive away from big bear lake. Paradise Ranch gave me and 10 of my closest friends the perfect location for a reunion, with tons of top tier amenities to keep us entertained. Highly recommended!

Best place to stay in big bear!

This house was perfect for our big annual ski trip! Really spacious, ample parking, and tons of amenities to enjoy after a day on the slopes (the dance lights were a hit!). Derrick was very thorough and communicative, and he lives in the back of the property so he’s on hand for any questions or concerns. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

Snowboarding trip

Friends and I went to bear mountain for a snowboarding trip. Booked this place because some didn’t really want to go snowboarding and they enjoyed their time staying in and enjoying what the ranch had to offer. Overall good trip and a good place to stay for a large group of friends/family.

Father’s Day Family Reunion

Overall this Property was the best one we have stayed so far. It was perfect for all my family and was really spacious for a group of 20 and 2 puppies! The kitchen and dining area was a perfect size for all to have dinner together. There is enough room for everyone to sleep comfortable and the bedding smelled really good like if it was just washed. Over this property is a 5 star has everything we were looking for.

Had a large group of friends (all in our 30s) for a guys weekend. Space was as-advertised, tons to do, plenty of room for many, many activities. Awesome cabin

Had a great time at this big cabin. We went with a large group and had a very comfortable stay. The amenities, including the Jacuzzi and griddle were great. The game room in the garage was also awesome; had a lot of things to do. The homeowner communicated very well and responds very quickly. Was very accommodating when the prior tenant had messed up the grill/barbecue. He made arrangements for us because we really needed to use a grill. Would recommend it.

Friends Getaway

The property was large and had many activities and amenities. There was plenty of space inside and outside of the house for our large group (and dogs), and everything was very clean. The list of house rules was not too hard to follow, and Derrick will send you additional information and rules after you book your stay, along with videos explaining how to use everything around the house via email and text. He will respond back very quickly if you have any question, and might even be at the back house behind the property if you need additional assistance. As Derrick will mention, the shower water will take a while to heat and you will probably not be able to use multiple showers at once. I recommend spreading the showers throughout the day. The kitchen was well equipped. The media room was great. We had a good stay, and we will consider staying at the Rustic Ranch again in the future.

The property was awesome with cool amenities like the game room, jacuzzi (once we figured out how to take it off "sleep" mode) and a very spacious living area, backyard and kitchen which is key for our big family trips. The highlight was definitely the sauna, I think everyone tried it! The location was great as well, close to stores and the lake.

Very pleasant

Host was very responsive during the trip and had provided tons of info beforehand. Very comfortable home with plenty of large common areas for my whole family to hang out together. There was plenty to do in the home itself so no one was bored. Everyone was very impressed and happy we chose this location Only thing my cousins brought up was that water for the showers took a little longer to warm up, but this isn't a big deal at all since we're used to that sort of thing. Again overall it was a great experience.

We had a large gathering that was both an early birthday party for my husband’s 31st and an early Thanksgiving. We had a combination of both friends and family and our seven-year-old son was there. Very large space to accommodate our group of about 12 to 15 coming and going for four days. There was no snow yet in big bear but the house was perfect because there were so many activities and it was such a large space that we were easily able to keep ourselves occupied and enjoy the home. I certainly recommend this space for a larger gathering with enough room for everyone to do their own thing. The house was spotless and the host was easily accessible when we had a little bit of difficulty figuring out the movie theater room. We absolutely loved it! We look forward to coming again and I have already recommended it to other family members! Thank you so much for the stay. You were wonderful and the house is beautiful.

Cabin is Great

I would definitely recommend this cabin. It’s spacious, beautiful from the inside. We had a group of 15 and we all enjoyed our stay. It’s super close to the snow play and from the roller coaster. Our host Derrick was awesome on texting me back. Planning on booking for next year. Thanks Derrick!!

Why they chose this property

I bought this property because of it's location and 2.3 acre space. Big Bear is the only 4 seasons resort in Southern California. It's an amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the City.
The previous owners are the top builders here in Big Bear. This house was their home and a great example of their unique style.

What makes this property unique

This home has massive knotty pine wood beams framing the cathedral ceilings which create an open feeling. The custom made kitchen and floors gives it a unique look and feel.
I truly believe I offer the most amenities in all of Big Bear with the steam and wood burning sauna, extra large jacuzzi, 200" projector screen, game room, outdoor dining, built in BBQ, Fire and Ice fire pit, phonograph, piano and custom chef's kitchen.
