The house was in a great location very close to skiing at Gore and had beautiful views of the mountain. Very nicely decorated and appointed. The only cons were the temperatures in the top floor were hard to balance - the master bedroom became very warm while the back room was comfortable. Also I could not get the master bedroom fireplace to work at all. Highly recommend 4 wheel drive if visiting in winter. Overall we loved the property and would definitely stay again.
Home and location both wonderful. Took 1-2 days to get a response on our questions / needs. Light didn’t work in upstairs bedroom. No dishwasher pods or soap in kitchen.
This cabin exceeded our expectations! It was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, well-stocked, and very spacious. This was the perfect vacation spot for our family!
We really enjoyed the property and felt the home was very well equipped and comfortable. There was a lot of space for everyone and the home is very convenient to Gore Mountain…we could even see the slopes from our bathtub! We wished there had been towel racks/hooks in the bathrooms, but everything else was lovely.

Amazing winter family getaway
Love the location, house is beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. Wonderful views and we lucked out with a fresh 15” of snow! Master bath was so relaxing after long day on the slopes and kids had so much room to play. Only complaint was a lack of check out instruction… no guidance on what to do with trash and dirty linens.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us, Rebecca. We're delighted to hear that you loved the location, found the house beautiful and comfortable, and enjoyed the stunning views, especially with the fresh snow. It's wonderful that the master bath provided a relaxing retreat after your days on the slopes, and the kids had ample room to play. We appreciate your feedback about the lack of check-out instructions, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We will ensure that clear guidance is provided in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back for another enjoyable stay.
Great place to stay for a ski trip. My only regret is we didn't stay longer. The house is beautifully designed and nicely decorated. Kitchen has all highend appliances...although we ate out and didn't have time to use them. Radiant heat in the floors is a treat especially in the bathrooms! Next time I'm bringing my wife and friends and staying longer!!

Beautiful and Relaxing
Lovely space and setting! Such a beautiful home that lends itself to relaxing. Clubhouse with tennis courts, gym and outdoor pool is a plus. Very quiet and private. Lovely decor, well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill available. Family games and fire pit. We were grateful for the EV charger. 45 minutes from Lake George. We will be returning to this lovely home in the future!

Gore ski getaway
Perfect house for families and cousins!! There is plenty of space to gather for family dinners for 4-8 and two living areas for kids to enjoy their space and adults to retire in front of a fire and laugh all night or curl up with a book. All wheel or 4 wheel drive is needed in wintry months as it’s a bit of a stretch on a dirt road to reach house. Once you arrive, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with all amenities and the beautiful setting surrounding you.

Beautiful home
The house is set up almost like two apartments. Upstairs there's two bedrooms/bathrooms. The main level is great room/kitchen which was tastefully decorated, clean and had anything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The lower level had two bedrooms and a bathroom. For us it worked out perfectly with one family down and one up. The setting in the middle of the mountain forest was absolutely gorgeous and viewable from every window in the entire house.
The house provided plenty of room and privacy for our family, three adult couples and two young children. Beautifully decorated, gourmet kitchen and comfortable beds. The only things lacking were a toaster ( which we were told had broken and a new one was on order), not enough kitchen towels or paper towels, and the refrigerator icemaker did not work. Really quite minor, but for the quality and price of this rental, one would expect these things.

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. We are sorry for any issues you encountered during your stay. We passed your comments along to our local manager to review and we appreciate guests’ preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
This house is newly built with great views, lots of extra space and a high-end kitchen. We were there for a January ski trip and would love to rent it again. There were two large bedrooms with their own baths on the top floor and two more bedrooms with a shared bath on the ground level. In addition to a pleasant living room on the main level there was also a large family room on the ground level. While we were there in the winter, there is a great screened-in porch which is sure to be the focal point in the summer.
The "country roads" back to the subdivision containing this house can be rough but should not require 4 wheel drive. Once there, the roads are paved and plowed very well. We were glad that we arrived before dark since the house is in the deep woods and no lights were on. Take a flashlight.
Such a great house in the mountains with all of the amenities. This house was super cozy, plenty spacious for our 4 adults and 3 kids, and had a well stocked kitchen for all of our cooking needs! We went skiing both days we were there and it was an easy 10 minute drive. The kids loved playing outside in the snow and we felt safe the entire time.
Only 3 concerns:
*We were expected to haul our trash out over 15 miles away and take a permit with us that had to be returned to the home! Well, the trash site was closed and we couldn't find the permit so we weren't able to do that. Would have been happy to pay a premium for the cleaning crew to do that!
*We really wanted to watch the NFL football playoffs at night but had trouble getting the right channels on the TV. Could only get FOX on the downstairs TV but got Peacock on the upstairs after some trying.
*The ice machine for the fridge was not working.
Otherwise, the stay was perfect and we really enjoyed everything.

Stephanie, thank you for your review, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. The handle on the ice maker must be facing down for it to work properly. Please note the listing also only states this home has internet and TV, but no cable is offered. The garbage can be left at the home and our staff will remove it after check-out. Please know our team is available 24 hours a to assist with any questions or concerns a guest may have during their stay. We hope for another opportunity to host you again soon.
Overall thrilled with the house. It's very new, very comfortable, offers many amenities. Please provide coffee and tea, it's not a big effort and makes a difference. Homes with owners as renters have all of these wonderful personal touches, homes with a company like Vacasa managing have none. Couldn't beat the price, so it was a trade off. Bit of a communication frustration with trying to find out if driveway (long) would be plowed as this weekend was a huge snowstorm. One representative told us to dig ourselves out because plowing wasn't on the list of amenities. Ha! In the end, the plow was there bright and early and there is this really cool contraption that keeps the outside steps cleared from heat. Amazing! Vacasa should do a better job of understanding the area and environment. Clearly, one representative didn't know what snow was or how you have to navigate getting in and out of of property in a mountain town. Common sense. So overall I would say it was worth it, but the communication and trouble shooting by Vacasa was less than stellar.
The home met all of our needs and MORE. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The walkway was cleared on a snowy weekend. The set up of the house made it easy for our family to find time to spend together but some space for everyone to have some alone time if they wanted it. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
