Fabulous views & location in Stresa

The easy, friendly check-in with Giuliano, the spotlessly clean apartment, the sweeping views of Lago Maggiore, the relative ease of walking into town and the yummy restaurants there: it all added up to a phenomenal stay in Stresa. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful property

We stayed at this property for 5 nights, and had a wonderful time. The place is very clean, in a great location, very comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. We appreciated having the washers and dryer at the property.

This lovely apartment is in a very nice and modernized building. The panoramic view of Stresa and Lago Maggiore is breathtaking, and it was more beautiful that I expected from the photos. The walk to town is about 15 mins., you just need to be prepared for some uphill and a few sets of stairs, very common in Italy, especially around the Lakes. The parking is easy on the property. Giuliano, our host, was very friendly and exceptionally accommodating. Genuine Italian hospitality….We would happily stay here again.

Unstressed in Stresa

Every morning when I woke up here and looked out the double-door window I involuntarily said, "Oh my God." The view of the mountains and lake--with the town and the boats--is out of a dream. Or a movie. Or a Stendhal novel The beds were comfortable. We occasionally heard neighbors but all in all it was very peaceful. We worried on arrival when the taxi looped up the winding road higher and higher that the town of Stresa wouldn't really be walking distance--but it turned out to be a handy 8-10 minute walk, almost all of it on a picturesque, though very steep, pedestrian path. The town of Stresa is lively and fun. And the property manager Giuliano was fantastic--friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great stay in Stresa

Our recent stay here for 4 nights in Stresa was a great match for us. Highlights include: - Super easy check in (property manager was waiting for us at the property upon arrival) - Easy parking (even with a larger vehicle and with the location on a steep hill) - The unit itself was fantastic; The patio was comfortable with amazing views; beds were comfortable; Kitchen was well-equipped; Bathrooms were spacious - We used the laundry facilities which worked perfectly (including supplies). - Overall the unit matched the listing - and we really were happy with it. The only things we found a little off included: - Great WiFi - but the TV didn't offer an ability to utilize any streaming services. There were many German language Live TV channels - but very few in English. If staying here and you like to watch TV at times - you may want to bring a streaming stick (Roku, Fire etc) or use Laptop/Tablet. - The interior design was super simple - but lacked any sort of coffee tables / end tables etc. The simple design makes it feel quite spacious - but it would be nice to have a place to set a cup of coffee in the morning. The bathrooms similarly were quite simple - lacked convenience of any hooks, counter space for toiletries, etc. - These just made it a little less comfortable - but we still had an absolutely amazing time and would stay here again. Overall it was a great experience.

Tolle Wohnung mit sehr schöner Terrasse und Blick auf den See.Sehr sauber, mit Safe in der Wohnung.Die Klimaanlagen sind sehr angenehm und nützlich.Ebenfalls ist es toll, dass Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden sind.Giuliano ist sehr zuvorkommend.Sehr, sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Prachtig Stresa

We hebben genoten van het vakantieverblijf in Stresa. Balkon met prachtig uitzicht. En alle lof voor Guiliano, die ons geweldig geholpen heeft. We hadden namelijk autopech en hij geeft veel voor ons gebeld en geregeld. Het was wel erg warm, maar het appartement had 3 airco's, waardoor het binnen heel aangenaam was. Wie weet komen we nog een terug

Une superbe vue panoramique!

Très belle région. Appartement impeccable, tout était parfait (équipements climatisation garage le chemin piéton pour descendre en ville ...) et surtout une vue magnifique sur le lac et les îles Borromées!

Quelle vue !

L’appartement, de tout confort, est très bien situé (dans les hauteurs de Stresa, mais à seulement 10 mins à pieds du centre) et offre une vue incroyable sur le lac Majeur ! Je vous le recommande !

Séjour idyllique au bord du Lac Majeur

Magnifique appartement à Stresa avec vue époustouflante sur le Lac Majeur. Climatisation bienvenue en cet été caniculaire. Beaucoup d’espace et de lumière, literie comparable à celle d’un hôtel de luxe, accueil très sympathique de la part de Giuliano, toujours prêt à rendre service. Seuls tout petits bémols : trop peu d’ustensiles de cuisine et pas de mise à disposition de matériel pour le ménage. Je recommande cette location sans restriction, d’autant que la situation de Stresa permet de rayonner facilement vers Milan, les lacs de Côme et d’Orta…

A great stay!

Up the hill a bit from the center of town, but what views! Fresh, big space which would easily fit six people. Want a pool? The hotels along the main street offer day-passes.

Très bien, description fidèle

Logement très bien, description très fidèle. Vue magnifique sur le lac. La chambre matrimoniale correspond au séjour de l’appartement à côté. Heureusement qu’on avait des voisins tranquilles.

Tolles Objekt

Ein tolles Objekt, in toller Lage. Leider fehlte in Bezug auf die spartanische Ausstattung der Punkt auf dem "i". Etwas mehr an Besteck, Gläser, Geschirr etc. spart den Gästen die Bedienung des dadurch nie ausgelasteten Geschirrspülers nach jeder Mahlzeit und dem Eigentümer eine unnötige Menge an Energie/Wasser/Abwasser. Auch das Bad könnte ein paar Ablagen /Haken gebrauchen. Ein Toilettenpapierhalter würde dem Ambiente auch besser entsprechen als das Abstellen auf dem Fensterbrett bzw. unter dem Waschbecken.

Un cadre magnifique !

Bel appartement spacieux situé sur les hauteurs de Stresa (accès à pied rapide mais pentu). La vue sur le Lac Majeur et les Iles Borromée est époustouflante. 2 belles chambres et 2 salles de bain. Accueil sur place très sympathique. A recommander sans hésitation.

Stresa Apartment

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location is wonderful and the views of the lake and town are gorgeous. It is a very clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony and enjoyed our meals overlooking the lake. The property manager was very responsive and helpful throughout the rental process. The owner, Guiliano, was very wonderful and took care of anything we needed and also set up transportation to the airport. Wonderful apartment, beautiful town and area!
