About this property

Kennedy Porch- 1 mile from King St.

Comfy and historic (built in 1905) yet newly renovated gem in the crossroads of Charleston.
*Pet friendly w/ 1 time fee of $150.

Perfect for a couples retreat, business lounge for focused work, or family visit.
2 adult (18yrs/older) max capacity per the City, per room.

Walk a few blocks to restaurants & parks, grab a $5-10 Uber to King Street, or drive 20min to beaches.

Our neighborhood is transitional yet packed with awesome neighbors who really get along well. We have cookouts, help each other on home projects, and socialize regularly. Some of our neighbors have been on this street between 70 and almost 100 years! They've seen some incredible changes in Charleston history. There really isn't any danger here, but sometimes people can feel uneasy from the appearance of the unique Charleston melting pot. If you're uncomfortable with an area that can look a little rough around the edges, you're probably best investing your weekend in a hotel, as even the multi million dollar homes slightly North of Broad Street have government housing by them. It's simply something else unique to Charleston!

We love going for walks through all areas of the neighborhood or going for walks or runs to Hampton and Brittlebank Parks near by. Little Line, DAPS, BoTo Bodega, Moe’s Crosstown and Fuel are just a few of our favorite spots within walking distance and great food.

Quaint property!
This was our first visit to Charleston and it was a great trip, despite the thunderstorms the day we arrived. Everything was easy to find and the home very cozy and comfortable. Would recommend, although we thought the location was closer to downtown. Very well stocked kitchen but fyi to the owner, despite following the directions for the coffee maker it leaks quite a bit out the back while brewing.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Loved the look of it; inside and out with great porch and shared patio with grill.
