Fishing getaway

We rented this home while going on an ice fishing trip. It was a great location. House was warm, dry and roomy for our group. We would definitely rent again. Owner was very easy to work with.

Lovely home stay

Clean, older home. Comfortable beds and everything we could ever need for our stay. We did have one minor hiccup and the owner was fast to respond. Great location, amenities and huge yard. We were very happy to have such a comfortable place to gather.

Relaxing time in Gimli!

There was plenty of room for the three of us. The house was very clean. The ‘open concept’ kitchen, dining room and living room was great. It was a short walk to ‘downtown Gimli’ and the beach. Host was very responsive to our questions.

Comfortable stay!

Stayed here during the week as my husband was doing some work in town. Very comfortable, nice big yard, AC worked great, comfy beds. Internet was super fast so I was able to easily work remotely and watch Netflix without lag for the duration of our stay. Super walkable to all the restaurants and Viking, nice walking path starts right across the street from the property goes straight to Viking park along the lake. Highly recommend for your next stay in Gimli.

Great value, good location

Great stay - we used as a second residence for our group that was in the area on a retreat so we were only there overnight to sleep. Owners were very responsive to any questions/concerns. Listing and photos are very accurate. One bedroom is in the basement, and a bathroom on each level. The weather was bad when we stayed so we weren’t able to enjoy the yard or deck, but very well maintained property, comfy beds and ample parking.

Great location!

Nice, clean and comfortable house. The house had everything I needed for a getaway from the city. Air conditioning worked great on the hot days. The backyard was large (my dog loved it). The deck is large and great for lounging. Conrad was excellent with communication and responding to questions. The added touch of the large tv (with Netflix), fast wifi and beautiful flowers on the deck were extra nice. I won’t hesitate to book again!

Cleanliness concerns

This could be a lovely place to stay if it had a complete cleaning. All drawers, cupboards, windows , closets need to be cleaned up. The bedding, towels and dishes all need replacing. The location is ideal and the owner did send the cleaners in again, but it is more than be handled by one hour of cleaning

We also enjoy getting out to explore. There are so many wonderful sites - Hecla, Narcisse, Lower Fort Garry and many more.

Bjork Hus is a wonderful home base. You can easily take the walking path downtown, see Viking Park or enjoy the best sandy beach around! Hang around the house. Netflix and Prime entertainment. Read a good book. Play board games. Enjoy the back deck and spacious yard.
