The view from the balcony was absolutely incredible and, along with George, was the best part of our stay. George was amazing and did everything he could to make things right whenever something came up.That said, the condo itself was a huge disappointment, especially for a stay that cost over 10,000. We found a cockroach and mouse droppings in the kitchen. The internet and cable went out almost every day, which became a constant frustration. The amenities were disappointing. The primary bedroom doesn't have a TV, and the blanket on the bed was paper-thin. When I asked for another blanket, I was told there weren't any extras and I'd need to buy one myself. After contacting VRBO, a thin hospital-style thermal blanket was provided. George apologized and did everything he could to help. The kitchen had rusty knives, mixer blades but no mixer, and the pool floats had to be aired up every day because they wouldn't hold air. Before we arrived, we were told that once we used the starter supply of toilet paper, we'd need to buy our own. At this price, guests shouldn't have to buy basic necessities. The view and George were the highlights. Everything else - from the cleanliness to the unreliable internet and lack of basic amenities - fell far short of what we expected. We were so disappointed that we checked out a day early. For what we paid, I honestly think there are much nicer places to stay.
