This luxury 4-star-country house is quietly located has a beautiful, unhindered view and a private, natural pool. At night time you only can hear the murmur of a little creek and sometimes deer are grazing just in front of the house. But, if you like the night life, bars, restaurants, shows and casino - the chic town of Velden is only a short drive (4 km) away. The two units include a terrace, a lawn, two open fireplaces, a sauna and a party room. The house can be used throughout the year.

Skiing approximately 30 minutes' drive away, Distance from the beach: 4 km. Extra conditions for long term tenants (over 4 weeks out of peak season). Weekly or daily cleaning service is available on request. Smoking is not permitted in bedrooms. Minors should be accompanied by an adult.

Culture and events: There is various entertaintment of culture and sports the whole year round in the near area. It starts with New Years Parties around the Woerthersee, than the foolish 'Carinthian Carneval'. In the springtime and autum guided walking tours are offered. In the evenings you can visit open air concerts at romantic 'Burgruine Finkenstein' or classic musik at 'Carinthian Summer', or see high level theater at the Friesacher Burghofspiele' or have an unforgettalble night at the beautyful 'Woertherseebuehne' in Klagenfurt or, or.....

For nature-lovers: Our house is in direct neighbourhood to a nature reserve, which was declared in 2006 from UNESCO to 'World heritage of mankind'. The property is not fenced in to keep the natural caracter of the landscape. In the dawn often some deer come grazing in front of the terrace.We would apreciate it very much, if you could watering our flowers, it`s only a little effort.

Beautiful, quiet location

We enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped home. It was very comfortable and well situated. Some of the benefits were not included in the listing cost - linens, sauna, exercise room. This is the only part we would have liked more info upfront. But overall it was a great stay.

Very pleasant stay in Kathreinkogel

We rented Kathreinkogel recently for our family with four children aged 3 through 10. We had a terrific week and would love to come back soon. The house is very spacious and elegantly furnished so you really feel at home. Apart from the furnishing we particularly liked the fact that there are many different places where one can sit (kitchen, living room, sun deck, near the pool, second living room in the basement) so that everyone can do his or her own thing without feeling crowded. The house feels much more as a real 'home base' than other vacation rentals. Secondly, the housekeeper dropped by several times during our stay to make sure that everything worked for us. Also the house was exceptionally clean and all appliances functioned properly (not always true in vacation rentals). Carinthia offers lots of opportunities for hiking, cycling and visiting villages and cities so it was easy to fill our time. Moreover, it was very pleasant just to sit by the pool or play in the garden (which is very large, in total probably around 1.000m2). Finally it was a pleasure to deal with the owners who are very friendly and who responded promptly to aal e-mails. So we have no hesitation at all about recommending Kathreinkogel to other families!

Familienurlaub

Das Haus hat eine super Lage. Supermärkte, Stadt, Restaurants und vielerlei Ausflugsziele sind schnell zu erreichen. Leider mit Kleinkind (2jahre) nicht so gut geeignet, da es im Keller etwas kühl war und viele anziehende Gefahrenquellen da waren z.b Treppe ohne Gitter, viel deko was kaputt gehen könnte etc. Alles in einem aber alles gut machbar. Es gibt kuschlige Wolldecken. Alles in einem waren wir sehr zufrieden und haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Die Vermieter des Hauses und auch die Verwalterin sind sehr freundlich.

Fijn vakantiehuis

In huis Kathreinkogel hebben we een week doorgebracht. Het is een mooi huis, met alle voorzieningen, goed onderhouden en heel ruim. Ook buiten is het heerlijk om te verblijven, op het overdekte terras kun je lang buiten zitten. De bedden zijn prima en het sanitair ook. Een haak om de douche boven het bad te hangen zou fijn zijn.

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub im idyllischen Ferienhaus

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, die Terrasse und der Garten laden zum Verweilen ein und der kleine Teich war willkommene Abkühlung nach heißen Tagen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit und die unkomplizierte und Gute Betreuung vor Ort!

Prachtige plek

Ons verblijf was prima, mooi in de buurt van activiteiten en midden in de natuur! Frau Wiltschnig was heel erg aardig en zij heeft ons geholpen om de relmuis te verdrijven die op de vliering was. Een zwemvijver is niet voor iedereen geschikt maar als je tegen waterdieren kan dan is het heerlijk verfrissend, zalig koele duik na een warme dag. Het huis staat op een rustige plek maar je bent op korte afstand van leuke stadjes en het meer. Mooie tuin en terras en alles was zeer schoon. Het is een mooi ruim huis en als je van rust houdt enorm aan te bevelen!

Es war sehr schwül und daher die Mücken extrem lästig trotz einiger Sprays und Salben. Eine der Liegen war beschädigt und bei der Dusche im Freien ein Zulaufrohr defekt. Ansonsten hat es gepasst.

Schönes Haus in der Natur und doch ganz nah am Wörthersee

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche am Wörthersee im Ferienhaus Kathreinkogel verbracht, die der ganzen Familie inkl. den beiden Hunden sehr gefallen hat. Wir hatten die Besitzerin sehr kurzfristig (nur eine Woche vorher) angeschrieben, ob das Ferienhaus noch vermietbar sei und die Antwort kam freundlich und sehr schnell. Also nichts wie gebucht und 7 Tage später ging es los. Das Haus selbst ist wie beschrieben und die zwei Wohneinheiten waren für uns als Eltern mit zwei Töchtern (erw. + Teenie) ideal. Unten haben wir nur das vergleichsweise kühle Schlafzimmer und das Bad genutzt. Für die Sauna war es definitiv zu warm und die obere Küche und das Wohnzimmer mit Terrasse sind doch noch einmal deutlich schöner und gemütlicher. Von den Schlafzimmern im EG wurde nur eines genutzt. Als wir ankamen wurden wir von der Verwalterin, Frau W., sehr freundlich und pünktlich empfangen. Als kleines Präsent hatte sie uns sogar einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen mitgebracht :-) . Die Einweisung war schnell erledigt und das Haus hat alles geboten, was wir für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt haben. Hervorzuheben ist auch die tolle Terrasse, auf der man völlig unbeobachtet und mitten in der Natur ist. Den Schwimmteich haben wir aufgrund der vielen Stechmücken allerdings nur sehr selten genutzt. Ein Problem war dies für uns aber nicht, da man nach 5-10 Minuten Autofahrt beim schönen Strandbad Schiefling ist. Auch Velden und weitere Ausflugsziele sind schnell zu erreichen.

Familienurlaub

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus war groß genug, sehr sauber, und gut ausgestattet. Der Schwimmteich wurde von den Kindern stark frequentiert. Das Wasser ist zwar kühl, aber angenehm.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in guter Lage

Ein sehr schönes, sauberes Ferienhaus in ruhiger, schöner Lage. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben bereits wieder gebucht. Perfekt !

Wir verbrachten mit einer vierköpfigen Männertruppe eine angenehme Urlaubswoche in einem wunderschönen Ferienhaus, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Das Haus war voll ausgestattet. Besonders die Ruhe am Waldesrand hat uns gefallen. Wir wurden freundlich von der Verwalterin empfangen, die auch so lieb war einen frisch gebackenen Kuchen bereitzustellen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegen

Ein schönes Ferienhaus, dessen Highlights die ruhige Lage am Rande des Waldes und der Schwimmteich sind. Mir war ursprünglich nicht ganz klar, dass es sich eigentlich um zwei Wohnungen handelt. Vielleicht habe ich die Beschreibung nicht genau genug gelesen. Jedenfalls war der Platz mehr als ausreichend für unsere fünfköpfige Familie plus kleinen Hund. Allerdings sollte man beachten, dass das Gelände nicht eingezäunt ist und unsere Hund nur allzu gerne bei den Nachbarn die freilaufenden Kaninchen beschnuppert hätte. Daher musste er längere Zeit an der Leine bleiben. Schiefling am See ist recht klein, aber im Nachbarort gibt es ein Einkaufszentrum mit Hofer, Spar, DM, Friseur, etc. Leider fehlte uns ein Bäcker vor Ort, aber dafür kann das Ferienhaus nun wirklich nichts. Die Hausverwalterin war ebenfalls sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Super Ferienhaus in Top Lage

Es war einfach ein Traum. Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in absoluter Ruhelage, direkt an ein Waldstück grenzend. Dennoch, in 3 Minuten mit dem Auto ist man mittendrin im Trubel von Velden, wer es eben mag. Das Haus selbst bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, ist groß und geräumig mit allem was man braucht. Das Highlight ist natürlich die überdachte Terrasse und das eigene Badebiotop. Wir kommen jedenfalls wieder.

Wir waren eine Woche im Ferienhaus und haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und es ist alles da. Haben wir selten so erlebt. Unsere Tochter hatte den Geldbeutel im Haus vergessen. Prompt kam der Anruf und der Geldbeutel samt Inhalt wird zu uns Nachhause verschickt. Super seriös, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub.

Perfekte Lage für Ruhe Suchende

Am Waldrand gelegenes Haus , das wir als Familie mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern nutzten. Es war Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten wie Affenberg in Villach, Besuch des Rosentals, bummeln in Velden etc. Der Sprung in den Badeteich nach der Sauna war super! Der Ort ist ideal ,wenn man Abgeschiedenheit von den Menschen und dem Internet sucht und liebt. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr gut, die Einrichtung ländlich gestaltet .

Das Haus liegt ruhig und idyllisch

Ca. 3,5 km von Velden am Wörthersee liegt das Haus weg. Mit eBike unterwegs zu sein, heißt auch Höhenmeter zu bewältigen. Das Haus hat 2 abgetrennte Wohnungen, die Souterrain Wohnung „riecht“ ein wenig nach Heizöl. Die Sauna muß extra bezahlt werden. Ausstattung Küche/Wohnzimmer alles da, was man benötigt. Die Bäder sind aus dem 70ger Style. Großes Lob an die Verwalterin, herzensgute jederzeit einsatzbereite Frau mit tollen Backkünsten.
