This is a wonderful home. Very clean and quiet. The hot tub was super nice. We enjoyed watching deer, turkey and hearing owls at night. Great location to visit the Safari zoo and Natural Bridge.
Great stay! Hosts were great with communication! Had a slight issue at check in, by no way could have been avoided by host, and as soon as we notified them it was taken care of. We barely left the place the entire time we were there. Very peaceful. Lots of deer and turkey! Hot tub was fabulous. Home had everything we needed. Great stay! Very relaxing and well maintained
My family had a great stay! We especially enjoyed the hot tub. It was convenient to the Natural Bridge and Safari Park (30 minutes). It was also close enough to Lexington (20 minutes) that we could drive into town for dinner.

I wanted to personally thank you for your stay. As a military family it means everything to us you chose to stay in our home and enjoyed your time so much. I’d love to host you and your family again in the future should you ever want to stay again.
Very Clean, Beautiful views, especially the sunsets. The hot tub was absolutely the perfect temperature for how cold it was during our stay. My dog had a wonderful time walking around the property and exploring. Overall an excellent trip.
This home was absolutely incredible. Very clean very modern. Had everything we possibly needed without bringing extras to the house. Can't say enough great things about Alex and her home
Was in the area for a wedding and greatly enjoyed our stay. We found the hot tub relaxing, the fire pit a great place to gather in the evening, and screened porch a peaceful way to enjoy morning coffee. Beds were very comfortable. And Alex is a prompt and informative communicator! Greatly appreciated this. As described the rental is remote - so grab supplies when you’re out and about in Lexington. And be sure to visit The Natural Bridge - not far away
We had a wonderful time! The host was welcoming and checked in to make sure that we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable! My favorite thing was the hot tub and being able to just relax while at the cabin. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again.

Thank you so much for your stay and your kind words! I personally love hearing how families have gotten a chance to rest and recharge so I’m thrilled you had that experience. I’d love to host you again in the future.
We had a wonderful stay! Abundant wildlife in the area and right outside our window. Enjoyed the hot tub, privacy, and beautiful drive wherever we went. It was about 25 minutes into town, but I’m used to a long drive anywhere I go, so that didn’t bother me. The only reason I gave it four stars on the description was because I didn’t read the part where it said the third bedroom was the living room. It wasn’t a problem for our stay and it was my fault that I didn’t read that in the description. I gave it four stars only to draw attention to this so the next person doesn’t miss it like I did. No fault of the host!Again, wonderful day and much appreciation to our host, Alex. Thank you!
We had the best time at this property! It was close enough to Lexington to enjoy the town and get the things we needed, but far enough away to truly enjoy the beauty of nature. It's is clearly called Deer Ridge for a reason - every morning we were greeted by a heard of deer and we even saw a turkey! The little deer figurine was so fun and we loved taking him with on our adventures. Amenities were absolutely perfect and we all very much enjoyed the hot tub and comfy beds. Communication with the host was incredibly good from booking through check out (and even after, when we realized we left something behind)! Highly recommend this property and these hosts, easily one of our favorite homes we've ever stayed in.

We are so happy you got to meet our resident not so shy deer. 🤣 They sometimes think it’s their house and they just allow us to be there. If you wanted wildlife you got plenty 🤣. Thank you for your kind words. You were an amazing guest and I hope you and your family have so many great trips ahead of you!
Absolutely amazing host and an amazing property. Beautiful wildlife and Mountain View’s everywhere. If you’re looking for a getaway on the mountains, look no further.
This was our second year staying at this location. Such a nice place. The host is courteous and communicates very well. The house is always clean and had everything we needed for a quiet weekend get-a-way. This is a great place to unplug and unwind for as long as you need to.

I am honored you and your family chose to return again! Thank you for your kind words and I look forward to hosting you again in the future for your next trip to unplug and relax.
This home was perfect for our multi-generational family. It was beautifully decorated with a modern farmhouse, lodge feel. It had everything we needed for our visit and was well stocked. The little extras were appreciated and had a good selection of coffees and hot chocolates. The beds and furniture were comfortable after a long day of exploring and we ended each day in the hot tub and with a fire in the fire pit. These were perfect additions. The home is situated in a serene area and we especially enjoyed the wildlife that visited often. I would love to return to your beautiful home, thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you so much for your stay. It really means a lot to our family! I’m thrilled to hear you had such a great time! I agree the porch and watching deer is the best thing about the house - the hot tub is just icing on the cake! You are welcome back anytime!
We stayed for two nights at Alex’s place, which is nicely secluded—exactly what we were looking for. We loved relaxing by the fire and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The home is about a 20-minute drive from downtown, and the drive is especially beautiful in the fall. We’d definitely love to come back again.
