Welcome to your mountain retreat close to everything the Clayton/Lake Burton area has to offer. 7 bed, 4.5 bath home features spectacular views of the 3rd hole of a private golf community at the north end of Lake Burton and the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. 3 levels of decks to enjoy the views. This home is located in a beautiful gated community at the north end of Lake Burton. Located 15 minutes to downtown Clayton.

This home was fully renovated in 2021. New baths, flooring, kitchen reface, paint and furniture.

This home features 4 levels of living.

Main level (2 step entry) has the owner's suite with a breathtaking wall of windows, king bed, smart tv, access to deck and a stand up shower and soaking tub. Also on this level is the eight seat formal dining room, open kitchen with two story living room, 65" smart Samsung tv, wood burning fireplace and a half bath. A wall of books and cabinet of games for you to enjoy and unwind. Tablet controlled Sonos music for the whole home on this level. The back deck on this level has a dining table for eight and oversized sectional. The sidedeck has a six person Sundance hot tub (new in 2023) with easy to open pivot cover and a Smart TV that can rotate. Also on the deck is a Weber four burner oversized propane grill (new in 2021). There is also a corn hole set up! The lot to the right is also part of the property and perfect play some matches! Two car garage with parking on driveway for two additional cars. Additional parking just down the street in the designated parking pads.

Upper level has three bedrooms. One room is perfect for our younger guests! Two twin beds and a bunk bed sleeps four comfortably (upper bunk weight limit is 220lbs). And oversized guest bedroom has two queens (baby changing table, two baby gates and a pack and play in the large closet) and also a bedroom with a king bed (this room has a peekaboo view of the mountains/lake). Renovated bath has tub/shower combo in a separate room from the double vanities. This floor also has a loft area with children's toys, books and a small play table.

The level below the main is a perfect place to watch the 65" smart tv on the oversized sectional or enjoy the outside sectional with fire table. Gathering room also has a wood burning fireplace, amazing views and bar area with beverage fridge. This floor also has two bedrooms-both with amazing views. One features two queens and the other has a King. The bath is a Jack and Jill with a stand up shower in between.

The bottom level is a ton of fun! Air hockey table, pool table that converts to ping pong, mini Golden Tee arcade game, and a 75" smart tv! This floor also has two queen beds. All with the same amazing views. A Jack and Jill bath is on this floor as well.

Activities in the area include hiking, boating, fishing, golf. Nearby points of interest include local wineries, distilleries, entry point to the Appalachian Trail, La Prades marina and Anchorage marina.

Please note this home will be supplied with a starter set of all kitchen and paper product needs. This will easily get you through the first/second day. There is a close by market (Clayton Market) and large grocery store (Ingles) and Super Wal-Mart within 15 minutes to stock up on all your long term needs.

Great for a big group

Lots of room for everyone and on different levels, so everyone is tripping over each other. Great location on the 3rd hole at Waterfall and close to the club house. Mark was very nice with two requests we had and the check-in instructions were spot on and easy to follow. A very nice house to stay in for a wedding at Waterfall!

Beautiful Views and Home

Everything about the property was 'as advertised', if not better! There are many floors of living and fun space, making it a great place for groups or multiple families to occupy and enjoy. Waterfall Club is beautiful - and we rented a pontoon for a day to enjoy the gorgeous Lake Burton. Owners were so kind and responsive, and we were grateful to share their home for a long weekend. The process was easy from beginning to end!

Best rental process

Mark and Chloe were so great with the entire rental process. Great communication and the house wants for nothing! Kitchen is stocked with every appliance you can imagine, and all the amenities are true to description (hot tub- which the kids loved, game room, TV, etc). Truly a beautiful location! Only thing I will note is that the community is very hilly, so make sure you have a car that can make it up and down inclines. haha! My 5 yo asked if we were on a roller coaster as we came down the hill out of the community. haha! Great location to markets, lake, other things to do. Would definitely stay again!

Great House, Great View

The house was a wonderful gathering place for our extended family, 3 generations. The five grands, ages 14-19, loved the game room on the lowest level and they didn’t disturb the rest of us. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone. The home was lovely and the host was extremely helpful, always responding immediately if we had a question. The view from the deck was beautiful and we enjoyed cooking in one evening on the grill. There are very good restaurants in the area as well and we had several excellent meals. There are a lot of steps, as the house is 4 levels, but the plus side of that is privacy and lack of noise. I would highly recommend this home.

Mountain retreat

Place was as shown. Had everything you need to cook and for your personal comfort. Plenty of room for everyone. Had a great area for kids to sleep and play, lots of toys. Only downfall lots of steps! Neighborhood was quiet and area was beautiful. 15 minutes from grocery and a Walmart or dining if you desire. Great views and wonderful property. Hosts answered any and all questions quickly. Everything was flawless!

Great communication, gorgeous views, and peace and quiet. Everything we were looking for in a weekend retreat with our group for team building and a quick getaway. Getting to watch the sunrise in the morning and shooting stars in the evening off the same deck was a bonus. The pictures don’t do it justice!

Beautiful View/Perfect for Large Families

My experience renting this property was an extremely easy one. The owners are very responsive and truly want you to have a good experience. They just remodeled the home, it offers many upgrades and the best of technology. Most importantly to me was it was very clean. The owner actually gave me the housekeepers name and she came in halfway through the week and did a beautiful job. Lake Burton did not diss appoint. We boated everyday and never tired of the beautiful views. I would recommend renting this property without hesitation.
