We were very pleased with the property. It fit our family perfectly. The front office messed up on our reservation and we realized it when we walked into the wrong unit. We had to go back to the office which is off property and fix the issue. The property itself was excellent.

Great stay!

great experience, would be great if pick up and drop off for wrist bands was arranged differently… maybe be given code and lock box is physically at place and then could just leave items at condo instead of having to make a trip to different location. Overall this was a great place to stay , location was perfect! Was quite , clean and had great accommodations!! Would definitely recommend staying here !

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We are sorry you were not happy with our check in procedures, unfortunately we only manage a few units at multiple complexes, we do not manage the entire complex. The complex requires parking passes and wristbands that do need to be picked up on the day of arrival, we do offer an in person check in if you arrive during business hours, if it is after hours you are given the lockbox option for check in. Our office is 5 minutes from the Camp Warnecke Complex. We do manage over 100 properties in the area, most of which do not require parking passes and wristbands for your convenience! . We hope to host for you again in the future. Thanks, NBE.

Great place to stay!

The check in process was easy as they have a no contact process. The hosts communicated everything via text which was great to be able to look back and reference. The location is the best you can get if you are looking to stay close to the water park. You can literally see the tall slides from the condo. If you are wanting to float the river the exits are within walking distance from the condo which was a great positive for our group. Over all, it was a great stay!!

Location great, condo meh!

The condo is dated, but everything was clean and check in was easy. Our car was towed on the second day because the flimsy tag fell off the mirror. That was disappointing and a time suck. Location was great and easy access to the water park and river.

Beautiful Condo in a Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We met up with our family and had an overall terrific experience. The condo was clean, neat, and I very much appreciated the communication from the owner/manager. All the information provided, including photos, were accurate. The location is fabulous for getting to the river and for visiting the Schlitterbahn. And getting to nearby restaurants and bars are just a short drive away. We had a fabulous time catching up with our family (who came from all over the country).

River mini-vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was lovely and clean. Housed us comfortably and there were six of us. Our only complaint, or inconvenience rather, was that there were two queens in the master bedroom which we had to give to our kids. Would have preferred them not to have a room with a balcony. And the layout of the second room was odd. Bathroom very small and sink vanity was in the bedroom itself. Also, wished we had a river view. Other than that everything was perfect and we would stay at the Wernecke Estates again!
Response from VrboOwner on 4 Jun, 2023
Hello Elisa! This unit does not advertise a river view. The setup of beds in each room is clearly stated in the first paragraph of the listing. Im sorry you were dissatisfied with the setup. In the future feel free to reach out to us prior to booking so a booking agent can help you find exactly what you are looking for. We look forward to hosting you in the future! Thanks NBE

It was clean and slept 8 of us comfortably. We walked to Schlitterbahn and it’s perfectly placed at the end of the river to get out. Plus our river access had a fun place to swim. We had a blast jumping into the river and playing around.

Thank you for the great review! We're so glad your group was comfortable and that you enjoyed the home's location. Being within walking distance of Schlitterbahn and having easy access to the river are some of our favorite features too! It sounds like you made the most of your time swimming, jumping into the river, and enjoying everything the area has to offer. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to welcome you back for another fun trip soon!

6/10 Okay

Pretty Nice. Few Changes Needed.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and nice. The pull out couch was broken so it couldn’t be used. I called the help desk and they told me I was wrong and if “housekeeping didn’t mention it then it must not be broken”. Problem is the couch bed already had sheets on it so it clearly wasn’t opened by housekeeping. Two of my guests had to sleep on a cot (uncomfortable) and the loveseat because you sank into the back of the couch due to the broken couch bed. I wish there was an option to buy a third parking pass. Parking a long way away is not ideal. AlsoHeading the A/C on 70 in the Houston summer heat/humidity is not ideal.
