2/2 condo. Master: King. 2nd bedroom: Queen. Living room: Sofa Sleeper. Maximum occupancy 6. No pets. No smoking. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. In addition, the electronic rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in.

This fabulous 2/2 condo at Inverness Condominiums is located right on the Comal River and just across the street from Schlitterbahn. Rockin' R is a local tube outfitter which can pick up 2 lots down from Inverness Condos between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For any reservation outside of that time period, the Rockin' R shop is located only .5 miles away. This 2 bedroom 2 bath condo has been fully remodeled and is the perfect spot for an amazing vacation. The guest bedroom has a Queen size bed and the master has a King with a private bath and a deck overlooking the Comal. There is also a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The open living/ kitchen area is the perfect place to gather in the evening. All bedrooms and bathrooms come stocked with high quality linens. Look no more, this is the condo for you!

You are provided 2 parking passes, one for a numbered covered spot and a second for general parking. This condo is on the first floor and does have an elevator. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. Guests will be provided with 6 wristbands (max amount allowed). This condo has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed.

**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are really there to ensure that you have a fabulous time! To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

Very Clean and Great Location!

Great condo! Very Clean. Love the location! Can do a short float or easily walk to the park for a longer float. Also, just a quick walk to the historic district, shops, and amazing food. The condo was perfect for our family. Will stay again!

Unit itself was spacious, nicely decorated and had all the essentials one would need for a stay. If you drive a truck, the parking garage is very tight to get into and out of your designated space, but it was functional. The check in process was nice as they had a drop box to pick up my check in info and parking passes, so I did not have to leave Schlitterbahn early to get it.

Great Space

Enjoyed our stay & the location was perfect. If you’re looking for a great place right on the river, this is where it’s at. The condo was clean, decorated nicely & the beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked, there’s a washer/dryer & toiletries provided. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck & grass near the river each night, watching the stragglers float by. When we floated the river, we were about to get out right at our condo. So great! Only other feedback I have is that the reserved parking spot is super tight. It’s doable with my jeep, but a bigger vehicle might not fit. The community pool was no bueno. It was so mirky, you couldn’t see the bottom. Not sure who manages the pool, but it was not sanitary for swimming, although people were swimming anyway. I own a pool at home & know the chemicals were not properly maintained at the time we were there. Hopefully it’s fixed now. The pool wasn’t a deal breaker for us though because we came to float the River!

Overall rating: 3 starsThe host was wonderful and very responsive, and the location was great. We especially enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the river.That said, the cleanliness of the unit was disappointing and could really benefit from a deep cleaning. When we arrived, the floors, couches, and kitchen table were dirty. There were crumbs and tomato remnants left on the table, and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guests. We also found long black hairs throughout the unit, on the floors, towels, and couches, and the walls across from the kitchen table had food or spill marks that needed to be wiped down. I contacted the host about the floor and how dirty it was asking if it could be cleaned the following morning. They were king and did have the cleaners come by and for the most part sweep and mop the floors in the kitchen and dining area. Additionally, the internet connection was also very spotty. As a college student, I rely on stable Wi-Fi, and while I understand the host isn’t directly responsible for the service, the modem in the unit seemed to power on and off constantly. This also made it frustrating for the family to watch TV or a movie, as it was frequently buffering or unable to play altogether.Fair warning: there is covered parking, the assigned spot for the covered parking has a beam nearly in the middle of it. If you’re traveling in a truck, it’s a TIGHT fit. Thankfully there was an additional uncovered parking area.

Our 2nd time at Inverness Condos!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time to stay at these condos. This year we stayed in the Comal Corral condo. The condo was OK. It was situated more on the side of the building so we didn’t have a very good view from our balcony. The top of the refrigerator was very dusty and we found someone’s acrylic nails they peeled off on the back of the couch, which was pretty gross. The management company new Braunfels escapes is wonderful to work with very easy to communicate with and very quick to get back in touch with you. Next year, we will definitely try to get the cowboy corral unit which is where we stayed the first time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect place to stay, even during a pandemic. The pool is close by to the unit we stayed in, and it felt great. Wasn't crowded at all at the pool or river. The river was gorgeous with stairs to access it as well. The float is in a horseshoe part of the river so its a great 30 min float and then you get out at the public access point and walk only 5 min back to the condo. There wasn't any crazy rift-raft compared to some of the other condos nearby. The unit was clean and comfortable. As far as HEB, liquor store, and restaurants; all within a few miles so it's really convenient. We will definitely be renting here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the home we stayed it was nice, there were definitely some issues that took away from our trip. We got the wrong rental packet when we picked up from the after hours box, so had to contact staff to get the right packet. While I was not upset about this and understand it was a simple mistake, it was a big inconvenience because of the driving around and we were traveling with a 4 yr old. Then when we arrived we found the pool was closed and there was a really tacky note by the property management attacking a local business who had installed a faulty lock. The bed in the master squeaked terribly with the slightest movement (when I took a deep breath it make a terrible noise). The final issue we had was a broken shower rod in the 2nd bathroom, which was a constant battle. The staff of New Braunfels escapes were kind and gracious when I reported the issues at the end of my stay. I would likely use NB Escapes again, but really wish this last stay had gone differently.
