Cape Shores Luxury - Brand NEW 2024 Pool, Beach, Private Fishing Pier, Park!

Welcome to your vacation home in highly desirable Cape Shores community! This renovated, four-bedroom home is only 2 houses (<1 minute walk) away from the brand new (2024) pool! Also, just a short walk (5 houses) to the beach, tennis & pickleball courts, and state park. NEW for 2025 - full-size arcade featuring classic games like PacMan, Ms PacMan, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Space Invaders, Frogger, and many more...see photos!!

Only 0.15 mile to Cape Henlopen State Park with miles of sandy Atlantic Ocean beaches, biking and hiking trails, surfing, fishing, frisbee golf, nature center, and wildlife - including great bird-watching, and more! Wake-up and take a walk or run through the park on the extensive trail network - you can actually get all the way to Rehoboth Beach entirely on the trails!

Cape Shores is the only waterfront community in Lewes with a pool, private fishing pier, & tennis/pickleball courts.

You will be delighted with all of the living space and outdoor decks. From the front entry, a large dining area sits to the right. Further into the house, a large kitchen and family room are adjacent to one of the open decks. A half bath on your way to a queen bedroom with full bath complete the space.

The second floor has a king master bedroom with full bath, two more bedrooms and a full hall bathroom. The kids will love the bedroom with the bunkbeds!! The final bedroom contains a trundle bed with a single up top plus a second single in the pull-out trundle.

For stays in the cooler months there is a gas fireplace, and for summer months there is a grill connected to the home propane.

In the epoxy coated garage you will find 2x beach trollies with 6x Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrella and beach toys for your enjoyment. There is a kayak for your use in the bay, as well as multiple bicycles for getting around the neighborhood.

Sheets, bath and beach towels are not included in the daily rate. Guests have the option to bring their own, or I can provide a convenient and rental option that includes drop-off and pick-up. Feel free to reach out any time for details - I will provide after booking as well.

While we do love pets, they are not permitted at this property.

Guest occupancy of 10 assumes at least 2 children sleeping in upper bunks. If only adults, the house can accommodate 8 guests (2 guests in King suite, 2 guests in Queen suite, 2 guests in trundle room, 2 adults in lower bunks). Reach out with any questions or to clarify details!

Another Fantastic Stay!

This was our second time renting this property and once again everything was perfect. Mike is a fantastic host. The home is beautiful and very, very clean. We really struggle to find rentals that are up to our standards but this feels like a true vacation.

We just came home from a wonderful stay at this Cape Shores rental. This home is beautiful, luxurious, clean and in a great location. We are very particular about the homes we rent and this one was everything we had hoped for and more. Amazing Cape Shores Home

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Everything was perfect. The house was exactly as advertised. It was spotless, well kept and beautiful. Mike was a great host and he had a lot of useful beach supplies that we were able to use. I would definitely stay here again and in fact, I plan to! Thank you for an amazing stay.

We enjoyed the property. It was conveniently located to Lewes downtown, the ferry, vineyard and rehobeth. We enjoyed coffee in the kitchen and living room. the kitchen was large and fully stocked with everything, we did alot of cooking. It was a quick walk to the beach , which we hit alot. Val loved the packman game in her room!! night were spent either playing cards on the large dining room table or outside on the back deck. the house was clean and beautiful, as described

Beautiful comfortable home near bay

We just finished our week at Mike's house it was very comfortable inside and out. It has a beautiful kitchen and furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are big and spacious. There were plenty of beach equipment as advertised including a kayak. We love the Cape Shores neighborhood - love access to the state park and easy ride into town. We would love to stay again at his home in the future.

Superb, high-end property close to town and beach

We had a fabulous stay in this wonderful and comfortable property close to local beaches in a great location. The property is clean, modern, spacious and well appointed with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. There was even a kayak and bikes in the garage. The large and comfortable pool area is a few steps away. We would definitely return. Thanks to the owner for all your help answering our questions prior to our visit - much appreciated!

Amazing for family with cousins!!!

We had the absolute BEST time at the house. The house is absolutely gorgeous and everything was so clean and clean and tidy and it is a one minute walk to the pool and 5 minute walk to private beach. It is so close to go-karting for big kids, we did a pontoon boat nearby, jungle jims water park for little kids, Rehobeth for rides and Cape Henlopen for waves. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, my family loved it! Communication was impeccable with homeowner, can’t thank him enough!!!!

Perfect getaway

The house was exactly as pictured in the photos, it was very comfortable and cozy with lots of room and privacy for my family of four. Cape shores has great access to town of Lewes with shopping and dining, and it’s a quick bike ride to Cape Henlopen State Park. Rehoboth is a less than a half hour away by car, and a great bike ride for those wanting exercise on a pretty bike path. Michael was a great host, easy to reach and prompt with answers. We would stay again!

Amazing property in the perfect location!

My family and I spend a week in Lewes every summer, but this was our first time at this house. The entire process and house was perfect. Mike is great at communication and adhering to the guests needs. Check-in process was a breeze and the house was well equipped and clean. We opted to bring our own linens, and bikes. However, we were pleased to find other bikes available in the garage, so our entire family could ride together. The location of this house is the cherry on top. The kids were free to go to the beach, pool or park on their own - all were 5 minutes or less from the house. The new pool was a life saver with the baby and the proximity to the house made it easier to go back for naps. I 100% recommend this place or any other rental offered by Mike.

Cape Shores

This was our 7th year in Lewes, 3rd time in the Cape Shores community. This property is newly remodeled and very clean. The house is well equipped to cook/grill and we also utilized the beach chairs, umbrella and wagon instead of lugging ours from home. We especially love the community pool and private pier to walk on and fish off of. The community is in an ideal location to visit the ocean side of the beach in Cape Henlopen and is just a few minutes drive from the Main Street of Lewes to enjoy all the amazing local restaurants. Our host, Mike, was great with communication. We hope to stay at this property again in the future!

Fun Family Vacation!

We enjoyed our August week! The house was clean and spacious with a nice open floor plan on the main floor! We enjoyed the added bonus of the outdoor shower. We had brought beach chairs and bikes but there were plenty to pick from in the garage. The walk to the beach was quick and the kids enjoyed fishing from the pier. The town of Lewes is a short drive or bike ride- lots of cute shops and restaurants. Communication with Mike was easy and fast. Can’t wait to come back!
