Please be aware that because Port Aransas is a unique coastal community, cable and Wi-Fi connectivity might be unpredictable. Thank you for acknowledging that we have no control over these services. GUEST VERIFICATION:
To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.
Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:
- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.
- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.
- Paying a non-refundable $60 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out. This is collected either at the time of payment through the booking platform or afterward, depending on which platform you use to book.
The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

This property is next to the Pool and the neighborhood is very safe and liveliness. Lot of near by restaurants. Property itself kept really clean and gorgeous. Very comfortable to stay along with family. Kids really enjoyed staying in this beautiful property and additional benefit is the warm pool next to this property.Checkin and contacting Host is very easy and Host is very friendly and promptly responded for all the inquiries. This place is perfect spot for family getaway in Port A. Kids had a blast at pool which is good sized and has a small toddler areas at start and slide in between for older kids. The place itself also had all facilities. Kitchen was nicely equipped and everything worked fine except the dryer. Will definitely recommend it and would like to visit it again.
Great property. Just as advertised. It’s 3 story, nice kitchen and living area on second floor. Pool is just outside the door. Close to everything in town. Rent a golf cart also.
Our entire group has such a great time over Christmas and New Years! The condo was amazing and the pool was warm, even during a cold front! We had enough room for our entire group, both for group time and alone time. It is a quick walk to the beach and has enough room to park a golf cart (if you rent one). The only draw back was the feral cats that “sang” outside our window a couple of nights. LOL!!! I would absolutely recommend Piggy’s Perch and look forward to come back!
Unit was very clean and spacious! There is three flights of stairs which was not a problem for us but could be for an older person. Love that our unit was right next to the pool(great pool) and even though the pool was next to our unit you could not hear any noise. The kitchen was well equipped. It was also nice to have a garage to put your sandy beach stuff instead of dragging it into the unit.

Misleading description
We just stayed at this home for Memorial Day weekend. First off the home is part of a townhome complex and not a stand alone home which we did not know. It is close to the beach but not walking distance. The home is also right next to the pool.
First off, we were not given any information on the place until 20 minutes prior to arrival. I had to message the host to get the address the day before because I did not know where to go. Upon arrival & the delayed email, we were informed that the bare minimum would be given to us for our stay and we would have to buy anything else we needed. They give you a very small and thin slab of soap (not in all bathrooms), one roll of toilet paper per toilet, and two trash bags. Other than that you need to buy everything else. They have coffee machines but no coffee provided. They did have utensils, cups, plates, and some cooking utensils. No salt and pepper, no oil or cooking spray
provided.
The A/c did not work the first day and was fixed later that night at 11:30 PM. Thermostat did not work so the place was freezing for the rest of the stay.
Please note that this unit is right next to the pool. This is great for during the day but at night time it is a nightmare. I understand it was Memorial Day weekend so there were a lot of people. The parties would go until 2-3 AM. We called property management which didn’t do anything. Had to do multiple noise complaints with the cops and they would go out there but once they left the people would come back full force.
Overall, we would not recommend or book this place again. We left miserable as our children could not sleep at night because of the noise and temperature.

Thank you for the review. We are sad to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. I wanted to take the time to respond to each of the points in your review.
We do apologize about the AC issue. It was a relatively simple issue that our maintenance man was able to fix quickly, but I understand it was still an inconvenience. We are not having any issues with the thermostat since your stay so I'm not sure what issues you were having.
We do not feel that the description is misleading as the listing mentions that this property is a townhome, not a stand alone home, in multiple places. We also have several outside pictures showing the property as a townhome.
The property is right next to the swimming pool which yes can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for, but again we show this location in multiple pictures throughout the listing and in the listing description.
As far as property information, the property address was provided to you no less than 3 times, including immediately after you booked the property. I understand these messages tend to go unread so guests can always just message us at anytime if they have questions. We also provide information regarding what amenities are provided no less than 5 different times both before and after booking. We do not want to mislead guests, but guests have to actually read the information that is provided. We supply our properties equal to and typically a little better than most comparable property management companies. We actually provide quite a bit more amenities than what your review suggests, but you are correct in that we do not provide coffee, salt and pepper, cooking oil. Future guests please just see the WHAT IS PROVIDED section of the property description as we detail Exactly what is provided.
Lastly we understand that the proximity to the pool combined with a busy holiday weekend can cause some noise. Previous guests have noted that this house has efficient noise-blocking windows on the pool side of the condo, so this should minimize noise as much as possible. We did receive calls from you regarding the noise, however you called us the next day when there was nothing we could do. Future guests please feel free to call us while the issue is occurring, even if it is late at night, and we will do everything in our power to deal with the noisy guests.
We enjoyed our stay here! The location was about 2 blocks from the beach so it was an easy walk or drive. We loved that the unit was next door to the pool, so it made it easy to grab stuff inside while at the pool. The beds were comfortable and the number of bathrooms was excellent. There were a good amount of pots and pans for cooking, no blender, and just 10 sets of silverware. Bring your own spices and beach/pool towels as none were provided. Overall great stay!
Locate great! Beautiful rental. Need a better cleaning service. Bedding covers looked dirty stained , dust on ceiling fans and floor boards. Some shutters are broken , locks on doors get stuck.
Swimming pool awesome. But some renters let older children unattended and children were jumping off the rocks.
We very much enjoyed our stay, it was next to the swimming pool, it did get noisy a few times, the entrance floor was not very clean, but overall, we had a good time, we would definitely rent it again. John & Susan
Very nice house, tastefully decorated, nice bedding. Extra pillows. A full bathroom for each bedroom bonus perk! Plus half bath on main floor- check! Unit situated right next to pool- very convenient w private gate access from back door. You also get a 3rd parking spot- yahoo! Nice clean garage to store all beach stuff w water hose at front door for rinsing stuff off. The washing machine was out of order and we were not notified of that prior to arrival - not a deal breaker- I just would’ve brought more beach towels. Kitchen well stocked w dishes, utensils but you need to provide ALL condiments. I’m thinking because of COVID they are not providing hand soap in dispensers (if so empty dispensers should be removed?) so pack your own hand/body soap. We really enjoyed the house and everyone having their own personal space.
