Whether you want to explore the Olympic National Forest or just get away from the hustle and bustle of life, The Hideaway is the place for you. Situated just a short walk away from the Olympic Discovery Trail and beach (bring your bikes and kayak!), you’ll find our home a relaxing retreat. Star gaze from the hot tub after a bar-be-que dinner on the expansive deck and roast marshmallows around the fire pit as you tell scary ghost stories.
Though it feels secluded, The Hideaway is just a short drive from downtown Port Angeles.

We loved our stay at this secluded gem. Beautiful view of the strait, lovely home and a great location to explore the Olympic Peninsula. All host communications and instructions were clear and helpful. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable - what more can you ask for? Great property with amazing views. This was a wonderful base for our Olympic experience. Even though you are in town it was very quiet and felt secluded. Access to the running trail was a nice bonus. Relaxing in the hot tub watching the ships go by was great.

We LOVED this house. It is directly on the water. We walked down to the beach every day and saw so many ocean creatures. The hot tub with a view was a daily treat as well. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and this was one of our favorites.

A wonderful, private getaway!!

Beautiful location in an extremely quiet spot. Easy access to walking and running on the trail and so much fun marine traffic to observe. Lots of wildlife to enjoy too! A great location to base out of to explore the Olympic peninsula. Home is clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Would definitely choose to stay here again if we were visiting the area. Great spot to explore Olympic National Park

We have stayed here twice, and each time was a pleasure. It's an easy trip up to Hurricane Ridge for weekend snowshoeing, and easy to drive out to the coast for winter hiking.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway. We were in the area to visit Olympic National Park, and the The Hideaway was a comfortable and convenient home base for our stay. The house was in great shape. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and we cooked several meals during our stay. The view from the back deck was amazing. I would recommend The Hideaway to anyone visiting Port Angeles.
