Classy cottage style 2 bedroom, 1 bath single family home.
Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and a wonderful Heat Pump provides for both warmth or air conditioning! Fun, comfortable furnishings to make you feel right at home. Living room features a sectional sofa, two cute chairs and an electric fireplace. Also, a 40' Smart "ROKU" TV, NETFLIX- all available for FREE and games for adults and kids. Fun, functional kitchen with full size stove, dishwasher and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, pots/pans - dish service for 8, silverware for 8, wine glasses, water glasses - a fully stocked kitchen to cover most, if not all, of your needs. Two bedrooms, each with queen sized beds. The larger room has a wonderful custom iron bed with comfortable linens and great bedroom set with ample drawers and a small closet to store all your personal belongings. The lovely second bedroom with vaulted ceiling offers a queen size bed, with comfortable linens and a closet to store your personal belongs. The full size bathroom features a bath/shower combination, amazing water heater, towels, hand towels and a variety of wash clothes for you and your guests. Also included is a full size front loading washer and dryer, why go home with dirty clothes? The spacious yard is fully fenced, front and back, with small porch area with a patio set that has seats for 4. A darling fire-pit area with Adirondack Chairs for gatherings - for those wanting to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The house is steps away from Webster park, and just a few blocks away from Swains (which has everything), downtown Port Angeles, shops, grocery stores, and some restaurants. A short drive to numerous hiking/biking trails/Olympic Discovery Trail and Hurricane Ridge, just to name a few. Only a couple of blocks from the Black Ball Ferry, that takes you to the "Gateway to Canada" - Victoria, B.C. This is one of the best locations in town and may be the classiest cottage you'll find in the area! Cute, classy and comfy!

This was our second visit! The house is very well appointed and pet friendly. We had all the amenities and utensils that we needed. The host provides blankets and towels for furniture and to clean up the dog. My dog loved the tall fenced in backyard.

This is a great place. In addition to it's location it was the most well stocked place I have rented. My only regret was that we did not have more time to stay.

We had a great stay at Oh Happy Day! We used the house as a launch pad for exploring Olympic National Park. The house was exactly what my family needed; comfortable, homey and relaxing. Nearby restaurants and grocery stores made this house a perfect location for us.

We had a wonderful and cozy stay at the Oh Happy House. Really appreciate the amenities and cleanliness of the property. Conveniently located in Port Angeles we were able to visit multiple spots around Olympic National Park.

This had a cute cottage/cabin feel. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We had 4 adults and used it as our base for exploring olympic, the location for that was great. We did have to drive into the main part of town for dinning and shopping as there wasn't much within walking distance from the house. Would definitely recommend.

Charming Cottage in Port Angeles

We had a really nice stay at the "Oh Happy Day" property in Port Angeles. My mother and I used it as a jumping off point to see Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park, but it was a great base to explore Port Angeles as well. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. I couldn't figure out the lockbox at first (user error) and reached out to the owner/manager and she got back to us very quickly. I'd stay here again.

Charming, clean little place! Beautiful big backyard, comfortable beds and a small but workable little kitchen. Good communication and easy check in & out, within minutes of Olympic National Park & downtown. It’s an older home and as such temperature control was a little tricky, but figure-out-able.

Perfect spot to explore the surrounding area.

My name is Diane and I was born in Glasgow, Scotland, grew up in Newport Beach, California and currently am living here again. I moved to Port Angeles in 2008 and sadly had to move in 2014 to be with my family (which isn't sad! Leaving Port Angeles was sad). I'm enjoy my life in California and love visiting my home and friends in Port Angeles - I am pretty lucky to have two great places to live!

Why they chose this property

I bought this house because I love it. I love the solidness of this little house which was built in approx. the 1920's and completely remodeled in 1999 (that's when the previous owner put in the cute cottage styled cabinets). I walked into this house and bought it within the hour. It has a peacefulness then, as it does now. The view of the trees from the kitchen windows are unobstructed which gives the impression of being more isolated and private, which I love. It is a warm, cozy place that I feel most people appreciate when they are in it. I only decided to put in on VRBO so when I come back to Port Angeles, I can stay here as well! I couldn't do that when it was a "standard" rental.

What makes this property unique

This "Oh Happy Day Cottage" is just that and I think sharing it with people coming to Port Angeles will want to make you all come back! I truly want every person who stays in my cottage to feel the same peacefulness that I feel and know I've done all I can to make it so for you. If you want one of the best locations in Port Angeles, this is the cottage for you.
