Charming Cottage with Deck and Lakefront

This rustic getaway is tucked into the Maine woods, and is the ideal place to relax and recharge. The property has approximately 75 feet of waterfront access on Webb Lake and is close to many fine hiking trails in the region. It is the ideal getaway for an outdoors retreat. The area attracts boaters, anglers, hikers, and those that just like to relax in a serene place with a good book or a puzzle.

The first floor of the house contains a dramatic living room with stone masonry wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceiling and glass sliders that provide a view of the lake. There is a dining room as well as a breakfast nook, and large well equipped kitchen on the first floor. There is also a bedroom, full bath, screened porch, and attached boat house complete with a canoe, life jackets, paddles, and many yard games for guest use. There are also 2 bicycles available for use by guests perfect for a leisurely ride down the lane.

There are beds for 8 total guests at the house. In addition to the first floor bedroom and bath, the second floor of the house has another full bathroom and 3 bedrooms. There's a queen bed in the master bedroom, and 2 twin beds in each of the other bedrooms on the second floor. The bed in the first floor bedroom is actually 2 twin beds pushed together to make up a king. These beds can be separated if preferred.

The large yard is ideal for badminton, bocce, horseshoes, or croquet games. Enjoy cocktail hour on the deck, and end of the day relaxation around the fire pit.

We ask that our guests enjoy their time with family and friends, while respecting the property as well as our neighbors and refrain from loud music and partying.

Please note: During summer months, we require a 7 night minimum stay from Saturday to Saturday. Open to 3+ night stays during the spring/fall.

Cabin was perfect. Enjoyed hiking Tumbledown, enjoyed Webb lake. Plenty of rooms. Beautiful view of the outdoors and lake from the glass enclosed living room. Nostalgic records. Everything provided, very comfortable cabin. Greatly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Peaceful Cottage

As all other reviews stated, we loved this cottage on the water. Plenty of space for 3 couples. The living room, screened porch and deck offered spots to enjoy the tranquility of this place. We wished we had known about it when our kids were little!! Comfortable beds, linens, and cooking equipment and dishes for a large crowd. The owner graciously provided coal for the grill (which we replaced), some wood for the firepit and lovely cut flowers on several surfaces. I had some work to do from my charming bedroom overlooking the water with a bank of windows with working Wifi made this chore pleasant. We would return!! Weld is a quiet place yet there is box store shopping, supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants in towns 20-30 min. away. A very relaxing place to be in a well maintained cottage that welcomes guests!

Hidden Gem

My small family and I had a great time at this home. It was fully stocked for all of our cooking and entertainment needs. We listened to Beatles records on the record player and relaxed in the big living room. The lake and beach area are great and the house is beautiful with its mid century furniture and endless windows. Lots of space for large or small families, boat launch is 10 minutes away. Highly recommend!

A great place to spend a vacation week!

We loved absolutely everything - gorgeous lake, swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, biking, playing badminton, the friendly neighbors, the hammock, silence at night, fresh air, beautiful yard, spacious, cozy and comfortable house, very clean, etc etc…almost forgot - a real treat of Small Falls nearby!! Just what we needed to cap off the summer heat😎! Looking forward to coming back in 2022!!
