We are so happy it was a great experience. Only down side this year has been the drought. But we still love it too. Thank you for staying and hope you get to enjoy again in the future.
This home is beautiful. We felt very pampered while staying there. Had everything we needed. Great location, easy to access. Very quiet and beautiful!

That is great. We feel the same way as Owners when we get to be there. It’s truly a beautiful area that not many people really know about. Hopefully the rain is heavy during the off season to get the Lake back up to the levels we are used to.
We had a wonderful week here. The king size beds upstairs were a pleasant surprise. As a family of 6 we were extremely comfortable. The cottage is well stocked with all you could need and more.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! A perfect little winter getaway. The house was just gorgeous and cozy. All the amenities and extras for a cozy weekend. Nice quiet part of the lake, was able to do some ice fishing and snowmobiling with ease.

We went ice fishing and forgot hand cream, but the owner had some in the bathroom which was a lifesaver. Caught a brook trout and a salmon. Very nice place.

That’s amazing. I haven’t been able to grab a salmon in there. Now I’m jealous and going to need all the hand cream staying out there till I grab one this winter. Haha. Glad it was a good time!
We sent a message to the contact person two days before rental and never heard back. We came to boat and swim, as advertised in listing. The water was so shallow at this house that the boat would go aground far past the dock and we had to drag it back in. Most importantly, we could not swim because it was too shallow. You would have to go out over 300’ from the house, through a cove full of boulders, to have a chance to swim. Very disappointing.

From the owner: Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you had communication issues. We checked with Evolve, and they did not have any missed messages from you. We regret that the drought conditions made our water level so shallow. It is typically closer to 3 feet deep at the dock. Unfortunately, this is out of our control. There is a swimming area and boat launch available at the state park, a short distance away.We wish that you had reached out to us while at the property; we would have been happy to answer any questions.

Great spot for a getaway
We stayed at this great cottage for 2 nights. It’s cozy and well laid-out. Ashley was responsive and super helpful and we appreciated the local recommendations from the hosts. The upstairs room worked out perfect for the kids. Beautiful to be right on the water even when it’s too cold to be in/on the water. Just be aware that the road is longer dirt than I’d expected and we are fortunate it wasn’t wetter than it was. My only suggestion is that since we arrived after dark it was a little hard to tell which house was the right one. Reflective house numbers out by the street or some other cue would help. All in all highly recommended and we hope to stay here again sometime!

Thank you for the wonderful review. So happy you had a great time. Understood and makes sense at night. We are kind of restricted in what we can post up in the firelane, but working on better solutions.
