This Two-bedroom cabin sits directly on the riverbanks of the New River. You can walk up the street to stone cliff beach or down the street to the historic ghost town of Thurmond. This features all the amenities of home: full kitchen, living room, 2 Bedrooms and a bathroom. Large back deck faces the New River and the mountains that enclose the gorge area. You can sit on your back deck take in the sounds of the river and watch the trains in the New River or catch a rafting trip from your back door. Plenty of fishing, hiking or biking right at your doorstep. So come and relax with us in our New River cabin and make our home yours on your vacation to wild wonderful West Virginia! Come relax and unwind. Should this property not be available we do have other river front options on the Meadow River Rail Trail... I am born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia , I love the river as well as all that our surrounding area has to offer, I love history of all of the state of WV and enjoy meeting new people on a daily basis. Animal lover at heart with having 19 horses 4 Dogs and whatever gets dropped on my doorstep.

With a most peaceful and serene atmosphere Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall each of these seasons bring something different but the feeling remains the same. Our home offers the best of all worlds, for the active ones and the more laid back and relaxed ones. You have the center of out door recreation right at your finger tips.
What makes this property unique
The history of the river is what I most enjoy of this home, this home was one of the many mining homes that sat along the New River being able to remodel this home and keep the history of this area are what I enjoy, sitting on the back deck and watching the trains go buy as well as dropping a line in the river,and swimming out my back door.
