Also enjoy the covered porch & two decks for wildlife viewing (deer & turkey are regulars and in summer fireflies too. The cabin is cozy and comfy! The perfect retreat for city folks like us. We enjoyed the area immensely. The Cardinal Cottage is as adorable and serene as the photos and description claim. The location is so convenient to all the sites yet secluded and abundant with wildlife. We saw many deer and turkeys during our time there. Our host Shelby was most gracious and accommodating with our stay. We will definitely stay here again when visiting New River Gorge.
