We loved our stay and would definitely recommend. The rental had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone! Check in was easy and the listing was very accurate.
This is a charming lake house with a fantastic view of Norris Lake! The deck is a quiet place to watch a beautiful sunrise over Norris Lake and the mountains.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with plenty of space for family and friends.
Deerfield Marina is a 5 minute drive away and you can rent a boat slip for docking your boat.
We loved the view and the convenient location! We really enjoyed our stay here!

Bedrooms were spacious and plenty of room for my family. There are a couple of items that need address and I reached out to the owner will follow-ups.
It was perfect! The place was beautiful and very clean. Some the awesome amenities that I can think of that we definitely wanted to make sure to mention were the very comfy beds along with a huge amount of pillows, plenty of pretty nice cookware, great appliances and dishes. For the money, it was totally worth it.

Ok but not great.
Location and deck were great. House was not very clean. Lots of bugs. Supplied bath towels were tiny and thin.
Our large family really enjoyed staying here for our first vacationat norris lake. There was plenty of towels and everything else we needed. The beds were comfy. The porch was great! Rained every day we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit but it looked really nice! Very nice quiet location! Would definitely reccomend! The two fridges was a huge plus as we brought all our food to cook so that was great to have! Washer & dryer was very convenient too!

Thank you for your stay and the kind words. Appreciate having your family as our guests. Come back again next year and I'll try to keep the rain away :-) .
Decent house for a weekend boat trip. Definitely couldn’t take the boat to the property but it was close to the marina.
The house had a few minor maintenance issues (floor trim was taped down and kept popping off), power recliner didn’t work and had the leg rest stuck partially open, fire pit area chairs pretty weather worn/dirty) but overall was a decent stay for our group of 8 couples.
Owner was very nice and extremely responsive and attentive to all inquiries and minor issues that popped up.
There was apparently a group before us that left the house in poor condition. When we got there the cleaning crew was still there. We found some things all over the house that the cleaning crew didn't see. (Pan of cooked meat in the oven.... that was stinking). But the house.... if cleaned properly was a nice place.
We stayed in this home at the end of June 2022 with a multi- generational family group of 10. The beds were comfortable and the two decks were wonderful, plus the view was lovely. The couches and chairs in the living area were also comfortable. The downstairs table was great for playing games. There was a nice variety of spices for those who want to cook and a 2nd refrigerator/freezer downstairs for plenty of cold storage - definitely a great thing for a group. We did realize that the eating area inside is quite tight for more than 7. On nice days that is not a problem since the deck has a great table and umbrella. We noticed a number of maintenance issues that needed to be addressed but aside from those we had a nice time.

So glad your family enjoyed Little Buck Bungalow. Agreed that there is some maintenance that needs to be completed and are on the calendar. Please consider coming back to see our improvements. It was wonderful having you as our guest.
Home was good for a family with nice decks to relax on. The first thing we noticed is that the house was not cleaned well. Food and crumbs in and under furniture. You’ll want to bring your own cookware as most of the pots, pans and Utensils are unsuitable for cooking. House needs a few repairs done on the inside. Also there was a trailer parked in the drive way that made it difficult for my family to park all of our vehicles. The area is very nice and there are tons of deer.

It was a nice layout but we will probably not return unless there are general improvements. We were down to three useable bedrooms and two of those beds were uncomfortable. There were two (and a half) useable bathrooms for a family of six adults, and the one in what appeared to be the master bedroom had no bathroom door! Downstairs bath was nasty and bedroom was NOT CLEAN!!! We understand that it is a lake property, but many repairs are needed, some electrical. The owner was very nice but the house generally needs some TLC!
Beautiful home with great view and comfy living-room furniture. There were some minor issues and I left a note for the owner, hopefully she will consider some changes. There were beautiful dishes but the kitchen accessories were not so usable. I hope she will provide more then 1 towel/washcloth per person as well as just one hand towel for both of us. There is an enormous washer and dryer but who wants to do much laundry on vacation? The grill worked great, we used it alot!! The house is very large with a great downstairs( which we didn't use because of only 2 of us. The deck has a great table and chairs as well as a outdoor sofa. I do recommend bringing ALL your food/supplies because there is very little there and the nearest grocery store is about 30 minutes away. There is a tiny store closer but quite pricey( $3 for a box of mac and cheese) but one would expect that!! Overall, it's a nice place to stay!#

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and a note. I'm so glad that you appreciated the deck furniture and the living room set up. I'm also very sorry that you could not take advantage of the extra appliances I have added, such as the oversized cookware, crock pot and insta-pot They definately are geared towards the larger groups. The Welcome Guide (which I send in addition to the VRBO sent version) is very detailed and explains that I only leave out one set of towels per guest. By the way, it is customary here at Deerfield and surrounding lake rentals, for the GUESTS to supply ALL of your own towels. Several cleaning companies and the Deerfield Rental office confirmed this as I was preparing my home to list as a vacation rental. Most feel that I have gone above and beyond to provide extras for my guests even beyond leaving towels (hair dryers, luggage racks, games, books unending television channels etc. I also mention in the welcome guide that you should in deed get your groceries on the way in and have included marked up map showing those stores I recommend and the distance from the resort. I will consider your written suggestions and I hope that your future adventures are filled with great places to stay and wonderful memories of the times you spend there.

Very clean and will equipped home. The back porch views were breathtaking. Love the drive up the mountains. We had some issues with the water heater but the owner responded quickly and had someone come right over to fix the issue.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house! So much to do in the resort area. The view was amazing and the kids got a kick out of all the deer around the area. Plenty of space for the 3 families that went. Terry was a wonderful host and was always reachable

Looks small from the outside but there is plently of room on the inside. We spent most of our time on the back deck enjoying the view. Beautiful. Good location, only about 5 mins or so from the Marina.
