I really can't praise this house enough. One the most basic level, it offers every comfort- the beds and all the house's furniture are comfortable and clean, everything is in working order, the kitchen is spacious and easy to cook in, and there is plenty of bedroom space for multiple families with young kids. The all contributed to the overall feel of the house being bright and inviting.
The house also offers a number of comforts you don't come across at a normal house. Obviously, there are multiple beautiful lake views. The house also has a pool table that we enjoyed, kayaks and a paddle boat, and, maybe best of all, it has a really well-done fire pit right on the lake's shore. We would make s'mores with the kids, put them to bed, and then drink a few beers together while we watched the sunset; it was the best vacationing experience I've had in a long time.
If I had to criticize one part of the house, I would say that the basement bedroom was a little musty. I didn't stay down there, but the people that did weren't very happy with it. In defense of the house, I don't think they ever turned on the dehumidifier down there, and, overall, it wasn't bad enough to keep me from giving the house five stars, especially if you can fit all of your parties in the four upstairs bedrooms.
And I'll end on one more positive note- the lake the house is on is a decent fishing spot. I didn't kill it or anything, but in about three hours of fishing off the paddle boat supplied at the house, I caught a small bass, a perch, and a decent-sized trout. Definitely bring your gear.
