Our house at Black Butte Ranch has been extensively remodeled to give it a modern, cabin-house vibe. The kitchen was completely remodeled in May 2024 The master bedroom has a King bed and its own bathroom. There is an additional full bath on the first floor, as well. The upstairs houses two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and another with one twin, a double and a love seat sofa with a foldout twin. This twin room is an ideal place for kids and teenagers to sleep, and includes a 55" TV/DVD/VCR and a balcony. Also on the second floor is a loft with a futon that converts into a full bed. There is a third full bathroom on the second floor. A large new remodeled kitchen is downstairs, with a separate dining room that has windows on three sides. In the living room are comfy chairs and a sofa, making it a perfect setting to play a family game or curl up with a book in front of a fire. There is also a 58" TV/DVD (Smart TV's with Wi-Fi connection, no cable TV) in the living room. The living room's large windows look out on the deck to the second fairway of the Big Meadow golf course. With large decks on both the front and back of the house, you can chase the sun or shade all day. This is a quiet section of Black Butte, and only a short walk to the Big Meadow Clubhouse and the the Main Lodge complex. The address is 71168 Bracken Lane, also known as Golf Home 59. There is Free Wi-Fi at the house and at other ranch locations. There is a nice selection of adult and kid bikes for your use, six adult bikes and four junior bikes. Other recreational equipment may be rented from the Rec Center. The house includes everything you will need to make your stay at Black Butte enjoyable and memorable. There are close to 100 classic DVD and VHS videos to view, both adult and kid titles.

Guests will no longer need to pay a $9 per day per person fee that was paid at the Welcome Center upon checking in to Black Butte. Guests will no long pay this daily fee.

This is a very well-equipped home on the Big Meadow golf course with a beautiful, large deck that can accommodate a big group for meals. The owners were responsive and accommodating. We look forward to staying there again!

Great location

GH 59 was a great home for my family’s stay. The remodeled kitchen was very nice, the pantry was big with lots of room for our food, and the appliances took care of our every need. We took advantage of the available bikes and loved being so close to the lodge pool and the meadow. The owner was very accommodating and available. You can’t go wrong with this home.

Lovely home and setting! It was spacious and worked well for our family (4 adults and an 18 month old). Was especially impressed with the organization of the kitchen and the tools available (even included a garlic press, lemon squeezer and salad spinner!).

Beautiful warm family home

Set in Black Butte, this warm family home made for a quiet, relaxing weekend. Though we hiked, biked, swam and explored just a few of the area's prettiest sights the Scherer's house made for the perfect home base. We cooked up some fabulous meals with the fully stocked kitchen, played games by the fire and watched the stars at night. Perfect place for a family getaway.

Loved the house - kitchen had everything we needed and the AC was appreciated. Lots of beach towels and nice to have a washer/dryer. Hammock was fun! Wifi could be stronger.

Very nice home

The house was clean, well furnished and very well supplied. We were two couples with two young teens that stayed for three nights, so the place was perfect for us. Having the bikes made the one mile ride to the pool very convenient. We didn't cook much, but the kitchen seemed to have everything one would need.

Blessed!!

Thankful to have found this home for a last min trip to BB for our 35 year in a row. Was able to celebrate our youngest having a kidney transplant and our oldest leaving for college in 3 days. Cozy home, plenty of kitchen supplies fun to watch people golf an easy walk to the lodge and of course the amazing bike trails and golfing. Will definitely be back to this location! Owners are very easy to communicate with and informative.

Fun on the ranch!

Fun on the ranch! We had a wonderful time at Black Butte Ranch. Robert and Terry’s house is perfect for family reunions. There’s plenty of room to spread out, with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs. The Decks are relaxing with many different seating opportunities. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes utensils and appliances. Whatever I went to look for, I found! Being close to the lodge was another bonus. We will definitely go back!
