Golden Retreat - 30A Getaway

I am really sorry that Lindsey’s stay was not 5 star. My wife and I do everything in our power to make everyone’s stay on 30A the best. When we realized we had AC issues and the part to fix it was delayed, I immediately called Lindsey and informed her. I gave her the option of portable AC units or I would help her find another place to stay in Beachside Villas. She said they would go with the portable AC units. I originally bought 2 units for each of the bedrooms. I constantly checked in to see how the temperature was. She asked for a 3rd unit for the living room so I purchased a 3rd one. All in I spent over $1600 in AC units and overtime installation fees. I wasn’t aware until after the fact that Lindsey had to purchase an inflatable air mattress. I had an extra air mattress I could have provided her if I would have known. For the reasons stated above, I thought Lindsey was very appreciated of all the time and money we spent to accommodate their stay, that they didn’t expect a refund or discount. Lindsey never requested a discount either. Also to clear up the bed situation . . . they are listed as queen size because there is no option in VRBO to select “full size” beds. The difference is 6 inches in width. We have plenty of families with kids that put 2 kids in a full size bed. However, I have updated the listing to call out that the 2 beds are full size, not queens because I don’t want to set false expectations. I wouldn’t say factually that our unit is not equipped for 5 people. We have many families of 5 and 6 that have stayed in our unit. Lindsey’s kids were just more comfortable having their own bed. As far as the pantry, it was never advertised that we have a pantry. These are not large kitchens so we have cabinet space and a large fridge for food and drinks. This is the first time we have gotten a negative review on this topic but not sure what we can do to fix it. We will add a comment on our description to call out there is no pantry and ensure there is no clutter so there is enough space for food and drinks. I want to reiterate that Lindsey and her family were nothing but nice and accommodating throughout their stay, and I appreciate their candor to help me improve everyone’s stay.
