PattyLew 2, a 3BR/3.5BA townhome, is the perfect family-friendly spot for your next vacation! You'll find yourself 45 steps away from the sugar white sandy beaches of Cape San Blas and when your beach day has ended you'll enjoy amazing views and sunsets from all 3 decks.

PattyLew 2 is in Barrier Dunes, a gated community on the North end of Cape San Blas. Barrier Dunes has four beach accesses, two swimming pools, pickleball/tennis courts, a playground and stocked fishing ponds (no license required). Bed and bath linens provided - you will want to bring your own beach towels. We also provide trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods and hand soap.

There is an additional fee if you decide to bring your dog. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs and the pet fee is $150 and is non-refundable.

50% of balance due is due at booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to check-in. All reservations require sending in a copy of your government issued ID for age verification purposes.

The condo was a perfect location for access to beach and to restaurants. The kitchen was adequately stocked. The bathrooms were stocked with plenty of bath towels. The half bath on main floor was a plus. The complex was beautifully maintained.

Great Location!!

Loved our stay, condo was clean as a pin. Beach access was awesome about a 30 second walk to the beach. Not our first time staying in Barrier Dunes but probably our best stay of the 3or 4 times we have stayed. Do need you to work on the weather, lol. Storms would roll in about mid to late afternoon and run us of the beach but that’s just our luck. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for family vacation.

Great location

Unit was just a very short walk over a bridge to the ocean. Ocean view on upper deck was amazing. There was some leftover pet hair on the floors from previous renters but I feel that is to be expected when renting a pet friendly unit. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again. The location is excellent; very close to both the beach and pool. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, the reclining couches were great for relaxing, and the storage closet was well stocked with beach gear.The management company was outstanding. Communication was excellent, and when we reported a couple of issues, they responded quickly and resolved them promptly.That said, the property is showing its age and could benefit from a refresh. For the price, I expected more proactive maintenance. The grill was completely unusable when we arrived due to rusted and collapsed burners. Management replaced it within 24 hours, which we appreciated, but it seemed like something that should have been identified before guests arrived. The front deck also needs attention, as the railing is visibly rotting and parts of the deck feel unsteady. The interior could benefit from updated paint, cabinets, fixtures, and shower heads.If being close to the beach and pool is your top priority, this is a great choice. If a modern, updated interior is important to you, you may want to look elsewhere. One final note: the refrigerator does not have a water dispenser, so plan to bring or purchase drinking water during your stay.Overall, we enjoyed our week here. The location is excellent, the management company was great to work with, and the home provided everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation.

Nice view and convenient location to the beach! Could use a remodeling and more kitchen supplies. Only complaint, the bedrooms got really hot during the day. Manager of condo was very helpful and quick to respond !

Family beach trip

Overall we had a good stay! The property could use some updating - paint chips in multiple spots, some signs of prior leaks on the ceilings, some of the railing was decayed/needs to be replaced on the outside stairs, light bulbs were out in multiple locations throughout the home, including the outside porch light. Other than those small issues, the location is fantastic - steps away from the beach and close to the main pool, and Cape San Blas is so lovely.

Beautiful Townhome

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Barrier Dunes and had a great time. The unit is very nice and well equipped. My only complaint is that when we cooked dinner the first night, we found that many of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. Before we could cook, we had to rewash the pots and pans we used, and then when we were ready to eat we found that many of the plates were really dirty like someone ate spaghetti or something with red sauce and then put them back in the cabinets without washing them. We washed a few loads of dishes in the dishwasher but the dishes didn't look very clean after washing on the "normal" cycle with heat dry. Even the inside of the dishwasher still looked dirty.

Stefanie's place is beautiful. Well-appointed and the location and proximity to the beach is wonderful. There is an outdoor shower underneath the unit that was very convenient when coming up from the beach. The only reason I wouldn't give it a five star is the price. I booked last minute due to a mix-up with another place. My husband and I decided to pay this price because we were desperate and had friends and family coming. We would love to come back, but will have to find somewhere less expensive for our budget. Stefanie was very gracious and let us leave our luggage early. She was very accommodating. Also, as with all the units at Barrier Dunes, there are three flights of steep stairs (14 on each flight) so if you have small children or elderly, this wouldn't be a good fit.

Dirty

The unit was dirty and out dated. There was pet hair on the floor when we arrived. Dust everywhere! And the worst part was the cat pee smell. It was especially bad in the kitchen. During our 4 day stay we had 3 live roaches, one on each floor, and a live frog in one of the showers. The shower curtains need to be replaced. There is a broken railing on the top deck that needs to be replaced. We loved the Cape and the location but not this unit.

Location is key when staying at the beach! Just under 30 steps from the back porch steps to the walkway to go to the beach! The condo was neat and clean upon arrival. What you see in the listing is what you are greeted with. Plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day on the beach. The master bedroom has great views of the beach with plenty of space. The coffee maker, mini fridge, and extra sink are an added plus. The secondary bedrooms/bathrooms were a nice size for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with any items needed to cook meals in the condo. The outside shower is private and a good area to wash off the doggos after a day on the beach. Great stay at the PattyLew 2!!

Lovely place

The condo is very pretty. Nicely furnished and well equipped. The only negative was the television function was spotty and phone coverage almost nonexistent . The neighborhood is nice and right on the beach. Bring all your food with you because “town” is a very long way away and limited. Property manager was quick to respond to issues and questions.

Beachfront, Updated, Clean - Location Location Location

We have stayed in multiple locations at CSB over the past 15 years including PettyLew2 for our annual family vacation. With unobstructed views of the beach, ocean, and sunsets, the townhome is only steps from the beach over the boardwalk. The townhome has recently been updated - Kitchen, Master, Master Bath, and new flooring throughout. The ground floor, private, outdoor shower is a plus. The outdoor seating on the first level deck seats 6 at a bar height table with an umbrella and is invaluable. We will return to CSB and PettyLew2 in the future.

Christmas at the Cape

Great value

We highly enjoyed our stay in PattyLew2. Stefanie was very responsive and super nice. We had a few minor issues but nothing that kept us from having a great vacation, and Stefanie was quick to respond to anything we needed assistance with. Ocean views are great and the walk to the beach is very short - less than a minute. The shower in the carport was super convenient, as well. WiFi was very good - we brought a FireStick and were able to stream TV - live TV and Netflix - with no issues. Overall - this house is fantastic for the price you pay...the house isn't luxurious, but it's very nice; you have great ocean views and short walks to the beach; and Stefanie is great to work with if you need her. Highly recommend!
