Our group of 4 women really enjoyed our stay here. The house was meticulously clean. It is an older renovated home with lots of charm. The location was perfect with views of the lake. It is a very peaceful and quiet area. We were able to safely walk in the morning. We would highly recommend.
The property was perfect for a wine vacation with another couple we've known for over 50 years. Definitely a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to Keuka Lake. Communications with the owner were fantastic. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as well as every other room. Wineries, lakes, parks, waterfalls and this property made for a great vacation.
Great property with beautiful lake views from the front porch. The location is perfect. We enjoyed our morning walks along the lake. We were two couples staying for three nights. Perfect setup with bedrooms and a bath on both levels. The home is very clean and comfortable. Great communication with the owner.
Nice place over all. Only thing I would suggest is to have more dishes available. We ate 2 meals a day at the rental and had to wash dishes every time after each meal since there was 6 of us and there was 7 plates/bowls etc. The good news is that there was a dishwasher so it did make washing dishes easy but seemed silly to run a half full dishwasher after every meal. The place was very clean
Enjoyed our stay and the many local attractions. The area around the home was perfect for our daily walks. Communication with the owner (Drew) was great and the house was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
Keuka Park is like a second home to us, and this cottage-like home made us feel like we had come home once again. It’s the perfect location for all that Keuka Lake has to offer, and yet is in a quiet neighborhood/small college community. Although there’s not direct lake access, you’re a short (and easy), pleasant stroll to the point at the college where you can enjoy the lake. The house offers a comfy (with A/C, too!) retreat with a nice sized front porch to relax and enjoy the breeze and some views of the lake along with your favorite choice of local beverages, foods, and/or ice cream! The owners are super to work with and quick to respond if you have the need to communicate with them.
Can't say enough about my stay at The Rose. The communication with the owner was great and check-in was a breeze. The house was very clean. We loved relaxing on the front porch. The surrounding area was perfect for our daily walks and we enjoyed the public lake access that was close by. Can't wait to come back!!!!
Nice house and thank goodness for the AC. The backyard was big enough for the kids to play. On a quiet street so walking around neighborhood was pleasant. Only downside was no waterfront or fire pit. The fire pit would have been great for evenings. The lack of kitchen utensils, steak knives and coffee was tough. We purchased knives and a coffee pot and left them for future guests.
