This is ENCHANTING CASTLE HALL. 🏰 The penthouse apartment is located at the top (4th floor) of The Pythian Building, locally known as The K.P. Building. Castle Hall 🏰 construction was completed in 1902 to serve as the Grand Ball Room & Meeting Lodge for the secret brotherhood society, The Knights of Pythias.

This 3000+ ft.² penthouse has stunning 16 ft. original metal tiled ceilings complimented by exposed brick & plastered walls. Uniquely furnished & fully functional with sleeping accommodations for 6. THE ENTIRE TOP (4th) FLOOR PENTHOUSE IS ALL YOUR PRIVATE SPACE!

The penthouse loft apartment that you’ll be staying in is that 3,000+ft.² Grand Ball Room & Meeting Lodge, called Castle Hall. 🏰

The building was finished in 1902 & was an immediate focal point of the Fayetteville, TN town square.
Lower floors were used for commercial purposes including the first public library 📚 of Fayetteville, numerous retail stores 🏬 & an insurance company which occupied most of the second floor for 75 years which is still in business but across the street from The K. P. Building.

You will certainly be staying in a piece of local & prominent history that’s uniquely decorated & including all the modern day amenities. Certainly a lodging experience not to be missed!! It truly is such a 🏰 MAGICAL 🪄PLACE!!

So Unique

I traveled with a group of friends for a trip to the distillery in Lynchburg. I stayed at this property with a friend and the rest of our group had a nearby loft. it was conveniently located for the plans in Lynchburg. The space was excellent. There was so much history on display, plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a well appointed kitchen should you choose to cook. Everything was clean and additional supplies thoughtfully placed. The rest of our group visited us the last night of our stay and loved walking around looking at place. When any of us are in the area again, I’m sure we will be checking for vacancies here. Joe was an excellent host and generously gave us a history lesson about the building. We are so happy we stayed in the penthouse!

What a COOL place!

This was such a fun stay for me, my husband, Father-in-law and 2 kids ages 6 and 8. We had access to everything we needed and then some! Joe was a great host who made our stay easy and enjoyable. My kids enjoyed their stay so much that they didn’t want to leave. There was so many cool things for them to discover. I’m sure we’ll stay here again!

Unparalleled

Wow! What a great place to stay, for so many reasons. All the "things" went so smoothly. Check in was a breeze. Communication with Joe and Katie was always fast. It truly could not have been cleaner. Every little thing that you may need was provided, and then some. Sugar cubes, for real!!! More towels than a family of 10 would need for a month long stay. The beds were SO comfortable!!! I slept like a baby for a solid 8 hours both nights of our stay. Highly recommend this place. You really won't be disappointed.

Historically Awesome

This is as unique a place as you will find. The loft itself is an awesome piece of history but the owners have filled the place with an assortment of unique and historical items to explore while there. Joe was an excellent host who showed around the place to start out and we’re available at any time for assistance with the stay. I took my wife for our anniversary and they even had celebratory sign with champagne for us on arrival. Also, recommend Honey’s cafe and Rafael’s pizza in Fayetteville.

So Fun

This property is unique to say the least. We spent the morning after our arrival just taking it all in. The main area is bright and spacious. The bedroom is darker (only one window) and very comfortable for sleeping. Even though the space is large and we were visiting in June, the air conditioning had no problem cooling. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and coffee. Communication with our hosts was easy, as was check in and especially check out. I would stay here again!

An amazing hidden gem!

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay. We've never experienced anything like it and will absolutely be back! There was so much to see and do we stayed so busy the whole time. 2 Nights in a Museum

An amazing experience; Joe has created a treasure trove of memorabilia and history. Everywhere you look there is something new (old) to see. He has even created a scavenger hunt to look for objects. So fun and comfortable, complete kitchen, even has the table set. I highly recommend this listing.

Cathedral Castle

I cannot say enough good things about this quirky place. The owner met us with the key making check in a breeze. They took time to personalize our stay with the colors of my son's college because we were there celebrating his graduation. Every inch of this place had something interesting to look at with handwritten information about the artifacts that adorned the walls. Eclectic would be an understatement. The large room has a beautiful fireplace with intimate sitting areas scattered around and a huge dining table in the center. It also has one large bedroom and a smaller room with a daybed for extra guest. It was spotless and well stocked. The town was quaint and charming, and I can't wait to return someday.

Great over night stop

So interesting!! This goes to our top 5 list. the space is huge the decore is amazing. The history was awesome. Wish we could have stayed longer! Can't say that about most places. Our Host was very engaging and gave us a tour and short history. If you are looking for a great hideaway dripping with engaging atmosphere this is it.

Promises made, promises kept.

This place did not disappoint. It is exactly as advertised, so interesting from the moment you get to the stairs til you finally lay your head down. My kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt and the swinging couch. Joe was an amazing host and very accommodating. We would love to add this as a stop anytime we are passing nearby.

Our new enchanted getaway spot! Highly Recommend!

We found this amazing one of a kind jewel for our family vacation celebrating my boyfriend's big "50"! We had our "kids" (17yo and 18yo) with us and we all fell in love with the building! Joe went above and beyond for everything including a wonderful B-day surprise waiting for my BF as soon as we got there! It really made his day extra special and unforgettable. Joe was also very informative and attentive to any questions or issues that popped up. My boyfriend closed the bathroom door and a lock that was broken unexpectedly woke up and locked the door! Joe came right over and fixed it! The rooms are filled with beautiful and unusual antiques and artifacts and there's so much history and interesting facts to learn. We really could of spent more than 2 nights there! The town was nice to walk around there with shops and dining as well. Can't wait to be back!!
