Serene Captiva Villa, formerly known as Tennis Villa, features panoramic garden views from its oversized lanai with ample seating, plush master quarters with King bed, a well appointed living area with a 55`` flatscreen TV, and a robust kitchen equipped with all the essentials. Enjoy proximity to all Captiva has to offer while also being close to downtown Captiva, full of opportunities for adventure and relaxation.



The Space:

This unit is located on the first floor and boasts 750 square feet of optimal island living space. This unit comfortably sleeps a party of 4 featuring a king bed in the master bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room as well as a full bathroom conveniently located between the bedroom and living room. The oversized lanai overlooking the garden features ample outdoor seating to enjoy the tranquil setting of Captiva.



Guest Access:

Included in the rental of this unit is the use of the many amenities at the Captiva Villas complex, including a heated pool, grill and cooking area, communal laundry room. The unit is located within a five minute walk to downtown Captiva Village where one can enjoy great dining and shopping. We provide high-end beach gear that guests can use during their stay. Our repeat guests prefer staying with us over booking through the resort as you are GUARANTEED the unit you book online, what you see is what you get! Staying with us guarantees you a fantastic unit, access to pools and beaches less than a minute from your room, first-class guest services, and far more economical pricing.

The Neighborhood:

This unit is located only a matter of feet from the beach, allowing guests to enjoy either the tranquility and hidden beauty of the gardens or the wonder of the esteemed Captiva beaches all within feet of their residence!



Getting Around:

Bikes or golf cart recommended. Rental car not needed unless travel beyond downtown Captiva is planned.

Guests must complete a rental agreement following reservation confirmation

A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.

Communication with Rosen was fine, no complaints. The unit was also just ok, nothing spectacular. The shower was lacking severely in water pressure and the upper part of the shower curtain has a few mildew looking spots, the size of a pencil eraser. We would have liked more than 2 face cloths, with our reservation of 4 nights for 2. Moving to the kitchen, it, too, was fine and nothing more. Not having kitchen towels nor oven mitts was an issue. Garbage disposal and dishwasher were nice to have. The oversized balcony, with a comfy sectional were good! The bed was actually very comfortable for the both of us. Didn't love that the remote and switch for the ceiling fan and light didn't work, but we made due with the bedside lamps and the spot lighting above the tv in the bedroom.

Tennis Villas

This unit could be very nice if someone would put a little effort into it. The refrigerator leaks, and the dishwasher is not fasten to the counter top so it tips forward when you open the door. It is also very noisy with the construction of the new water park going in beside it. The host was attentive to our needs and that was a plus and was kind enough to let us stay a little longer at the unit before leaving for the airport.

This is a nice little condo. One of the few ready for guests, which we knew coming in. Several items weren’t quite fixed. Sliding door wouldn’t lock, towel rack in kitchen repeatedly fell off. Worst of all was the king bed with the oversized frame. We could hardly get past it to get to the other side. Please replace that frame and it would be much more livable. Otherwise a cute place. Walking distance to the beach which is always a plus!

Never again with Rosen Vacations

In summary, the first day we thought the unit was owned by someone who was ripped off during renovations and called to report the issues. The advertising photos were taken prior to the devastating storms. The condo was dirty, ill equipped, and not at all that was advertised. Photos document the rusty fridge with broken drawers, blood on linens, rips in curtains, peeling ceiling, leaky toilet, leaking fridge, dirt and crumbs in furniture, food in the dishwasher. The porch furniture was stained and rusted, crowded with the beach chairs (broken & rusted) and a rusty bike. If we had been able to find another place, we would have left. On our 3rd of our seven day stay (Feb 1-8) - and twice again since Feb 8 - we informed Rosen we were going to request a refund. As of today, Feb 16, we have not yet heard back from them. PS; I am 77 and a 45 year visitor to Sanibel / Captive and couldn't be more disappointed with our stay. This is my first experience with Vrbo.

Tennis villa Capitva

We enjoyed our short stay. The room was clean and all we needed. They supplied a wagon to get chairs (supplied also) a short walk to the beach. Overall we had nothing but great things to say.

Excellent location to access the beach, the resort offerings, and the great restaraunts on Captiva. Room was comfortable. We really enjoyed the lanai. Would love to come back!

The location was good, but it was NOT clean

There was hair (not mine) in the bathroom sink and the sink was clogged. There was also someone else's hair on the floor by the entrance. The ice machine had old ice and had not been cleaned out in a while. There was a shirt left by a previous renter. In the bedroom, there is a ceiling fan with a light, which didn't work. Coffee stains on the bedroom floor left behind. Not sure how this happened but my car was loaded with tiny ants after the first night's stay. Each time I parked around that building, the ants infested my car. It didn't happen any other parking spot on the island. I have pictures of most of these things. I WILL NOT stay there again. On a positive note, VRBO was amazing to work with and will use them again
