Thank you so much for your review

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you chose to stay with us, but we are genuinely surprised and saddened to hear your comment regarding communication. At Dream Vacation Rentals, we strive for a "no-surprises" experience and pride ourselves on being highly responsive. Our records show that we did text you back directly regarding your early check-in request, and we received no further questions or messages from you during the remainder of your stay. We always have a team member available to help, and we would have gladly assisted you with any other questions had we known about them. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, and we wish you the very best in your future travels.

Thank you so much for your support

Thanks for your feedback! We're glad to hear that everything was nice during your stay. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of our team working on the back porch when you arrived. We try our best to schedule any necessary maintenance to minimize disruption for our guests, and it seems we missed the mark in this instance. We hope you still had a wonderful time in Captiva, and we'd love to welcome you back for an even smoother experience next time!

Thank you so much for your review and support

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review! We're thrilled to hear you loved your stay at Bayside Villas and that the check-in process and accommodations met your expectations. We appreciate your understanding regarding the ongoing recovery efforts after Hurricane Ian. Captiva Island is indeed resilient, and we're so grateful for guests like you who choose to visit and support us during this time. We're working hard to restore the island to its full glory, and we're happy you were still able to enjoy all the beauty and charm it has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future as the island continues to blossom and shine.

Thank you for the five-star review and for your helpful feedback! I am so glad to hear that you found the home clean, well-labeled, and exactly as expected. I truly appreciate your comments regarding the towels and the check-in website. We aim for a seamless experience, and I’ll certainly look into how we can make the Wi-Fi and pool information even easier to spot so it isn't missed. Regarding the towels, we provide a starter set intended to last a few days, but I hear you—laundry is the last thing anyone wants to do while on vacation! We are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience, and your input helps us evaluate how we can better handle towel exchanges or quantities in the future. We’d love to have you back again soon for an even better stay!

Thanks so much for your wonderful feedback and these helpful suggestions! We're so glad to hear you had an excellent stay overall. We truly appreciate you pointing out the need for a larger coffee pot and a faster porch fan – those are easy fixes we can definitely address. We also take your comments about the mold in the bathroom showers and the TV instructions very seriously and will be taking immediate action to resolve these issues. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Captiva soon and provide an even better experience!

We’re so happy we were able to make it right. Please note the listing description fully discloses that you won’t have access to resort amenities. You still have access to the pool and hot tub nearby, beautiful unit and gorgeous beaches

Thank you for your review and for bringing these frustrations to our attention. I am very sorry for the confusion you experienced upon your arrival; we want your vacation to start the moment you reach the island, not with a navigation puzzle. At Dream Vacation Rentals, we strive for a "no-surprises" experience, and it is clear that the onsite signage and lighting fell short during your check-in. To help bridge the gap, we send out a digital guestbook via email and text prior to arrival that includes the specific property address and turn-by-turn instructions, but we will certainly review those materials to see if we can make the building landmarks even clearer for night-time arrivals. I also want to sincerely apologize for the interaction you had at the front gate. Please note that the gate staff are employees of the resort association rather than our agency, so we have no direct affiliation with their training. However, it is disappointing to hear they couldn't provide clear directions, and we will be sharing your feedback with the association management to ensure they improve their guest assistance. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would love the chance to provide you with a much smoother "welcome" on your next visit!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review! I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the location to be amazing. It truly brings me joy knowing you were able to relax and appreciate the beautiful views of the mangroves, water, and wildlife. Sunrises over the water and sunsets on the beach sound like the perfect way to unwind. And who doesn't love watching the pelicans and grabbing a bite at the Mucky Duck? I strive to provide a clean and comfortable space for my guests, so I'm happy to hear that met your expectations. I understand it can be hard to leave paradise, but I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind words about your overall experience. We're so glad you enjoyed the balcony and the proximity to the beach, as well as the pool! We appreciate your feedback about the storage situation. We understand that having more dresser and closet space would have been helpful, and we'll definitely take this into consideration as we make future updates to the unit. We're glad that the information provided about the elevator and construction was helpful in setting your expectations before your arrival. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future, and we'll do our best to make your next stay even better!
