Best location on the island, walking distance to a huge excellent Hilton property, golf course, shopping, the market, the beach. We loved spending mornings at the community pool and hot tub. The place was clean and comfortable with an excellent huge lanai. And the host was kind and easy to communicate with.

Chose this property because of its proximity to the Hilton Hotel complex where I was an attendee at a business conference. Property is a 13 minute walk door-to-door to the hotel. Nice condo, comfortable, clean. No complications.

Perfect Location

The condo was the perfect location for my wife and I, close to the beach and resort swimming pools if you want to pay for a day pass. We spent three nights at the Hilton before deciding we wanted a more comfortable place to stay. I would highly suggest staying here in lieu of one of the local hotels. We're already planning our next vacation and planning on staying here again.

Beautiful and relaxing

Sunrise from Lanai was perfect. Condo was comfortable and beautiful. Great location. Enjoyed using the boogie boards (at Hapuna Beach!) and beach chairs. Check out the sunrise Dolphin Splash event at the nearby Hilton Hotel (9am Tue/Thu/Sat and FREE). Take the walkway north along the beach to get there. Also, the Big Island Brewhaus in Waimea has great beer and food.

Comfortable Home Base

This condo was a very comfortable place for us to stay while explored the whole island! The location was perfect and walkable to shopping, restaurants and the beach, yet quiet. Paul was very responsive. This was our first time on the Big Island and my husband and I celebrated our 45th anniversary here. We couldn’t have chosen a better place!

Spacious one Bedroom Apartment

Great location with super views of the sunrise coming up over the mountain. Best of all, when I needed help with the TV (yes, I’m old) Paul came right over and patiently taught me how to use it.

Winter Getaway

We love the unit, have stayed in it multiple times. Very clean, updated and well furnished. The view of the mountain is great, and great for star gazing at night. The unit is well equiped with a nice kitchen, beach chairs and towels, boogie boards, etc. We cooked several meals. There was nothing that we were in need of as far as cookware or utensils.

Serenity

We LOVED everything about our stay. The location is premier with shopping and restaurants very close by. It also provided a perfect area to visit other areas. Honestly, we didn't do a lot of touristy things as we just wanted to relax and re-energize instead of being on the road the entire trip. The condo is complete serenity with everything you could possibly need . All amenities are tastefully done, the lanai was spacious which much seating. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening tea looking at the stars.The living room, kitchen, bathrooms and bedroom were furnished with very tasteful arrangements. We particularly liked the Buddhas etc. Serenity !!!

Excellent stay

This was a perfect property for a two-week exploration of the Big Island. The condo was perfect for two people. The host is easy to reach and responsive. Check-in was a breeze and the condo was clean and just as in the pictures. The bed is comfortable, the shower was great and the towels are soft. The star is the large lanai with great views of the mountains. The condo is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella. We did not cook much but appreciated the water/ice in the fridge door and water bottles. The location of this condo is fantastic! The property has 2 tennis courts, a great fitness center, and a pool. The Shores is walking distance to restaurants and shopping including a grocery store. Only 15 minute drive to Hapuna Beach. We would definitely stay here again.

A peaceful getaway

I was a little hesitant to book the property because it did not have any reviews yet, but the property was exactly as advertised. The pictures of the property were 100% accurate. The complex is tucked away and quiet. The lānai was very peaceful and relaxing with a variety of seating options. The kitchen and laundry room are well equipped. Check-in was straightforward. The beach chairs and equipment in the closet were a nice touch that make it easy to start enjoying your beach vacation right away. The location is great close to A-Bay, the King and Queen Shops, and lots of dining options. You can walk to A-Bay and the shops, but be aware that it is a bit of a walk (15 - 20 minutes). If you have a vehicle, there are a number of amazing beaches a short drive away. The owner has left some suggestions with directions in the binder on the counter. Overall a great a stay and a gem of a property.

We enjoyed our stay in this vacation rental. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. It was in a great location, less than five minutes from A Bay and Lava Lava, which we love. We would love to return in the future!
