Log home located right on the Michigamme River, this riverside retreat provides you and your family the opportunity to get away from it all and back to nature with the option of internet and tv just in case you have a rainy day. Short walk to the start of the Iron Ore Heritage Trail.
Close to restaurant, bar, church, and small store. 4 Kayaks available with life jackets for use with an option of transportation to drop off up river, fire pit with firewood provided. Deck overlooking the river, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer, computer, sauna, charging station. Relax and get away from it all! One Queen bed, one double bed, two twin beds in loft and one double futon in basement. 35 miles from Marquette, great base to explore the UP. Iron Ore Heritage Trail is suitable for Bike, Mountain Biking, Walking, four wheeling, snow mobile trail. Great fishing!

We have been hosting on VRBO for 7 years. We rented out our lake home until we retired and moved in ourselves. When the property two doors down came up for sale, we jumped at the opportunity to host again! We love sharing this paradise with people from all over the world!

Why they chose this property

Our rental is very centrally located in the Upper Peninsula, giving you the opportunity for day trips from Munising to Copper Harbor. Or, simply relax watching the birds or taking a kayak trip down the river. We will continue our 5 Star service to this new rental property.

We have hosted a wide variety of ages and interests, from avid hikers to avid bird watchers. From birth to old age, you will surely enjoy the UP and our cabin.
