We had a wonderful stay at the Seahurst property. Our host Michael was very accomodating and full of great ideas for exploring the area. You cannot go wrong renting this home, The home is clean, beautiful and very comfortable to relax in. If there was anything we needed, it was in the home. The grounds around the home are so pretty and well cared for. Next time we are in the area, we know where we will be staying.

We rented this wonderful house to host an informal gathering of guests who came from all over the country for our son's wedding. We also had time to ourselves, off and on, for nearly a week. The home itself is spacious, with very comfortable beds and seating throughout, and a wonderful large, oak dining table. Our guests and immediate family spent a lot of time on a wrap-around porch with porch swing, table and chairs. As a gardener, I loved walking the grounds, seeing all of the native plants/flowers/trees and listening to the birds they attract. The house is situated on a very private lot, surrounded by trees and bushes, and there is a short walk to a neighborhood trail through a lovely wooded area. Michael was an exceptional host and we hope to be back!

First off, I wish we spent more time in the home, we were definitely out and about more than we would have liked. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived, everything was where it said it would be. Michael was very responsive, and had very detailed descriptions and instructions which was appreciated. We had a group of 8, and the layout worked out perfectly fine for us. Thank you Michael for a great stay! Will definitely consider staying again if ever in the area.

Loved our stay. House was spotless, so many extras (tea, coffee, hot cocoa, sharp cooking utensils, lots of space and comfortable beds), quiet neighborhood, wonderful porch ). Owner was very nice and friendly.

Fantastic family reunion vacation

The house is fabulous, a quiet location with outdoor games and plenty of room inside for a larger family to relax comfortably. The period features and homey touches make this house a great place to stay. The host is very responsive and welcoming.

We had an amazing time at Michael’s home. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we could even think that we needed. The property was secluded and peaceful. We all spent quite a bit of time on their magnificent porch. Grocery stores and even an auto store when we needed it were very close. We explored the area toward the lake and it was beautiful. You wouldn’t know you were by a big city When we went into Seattle, it was a breeze to get to the rail station.My travel partners have asked me to plan another trip just so we can stay here again.Michael is a fabulous host, was available for any of our questions, and we were fortunate to get to know him a little bit while we were there. If there was a rating of 10 I would surely give it to this property and host.

Beautiful home, great location

Immaculate older home in a terrific location. Great, safe neighborhood with easy access to trails, parks, and nice walks. Property has great privacy and mature landscape. Quiet, peaceful location close enough to town amenities, but not too far.

Great Place to Stay!

This is a fantastic older house from the 1920s and has so much charm. The owner has everything you need including fans which we used. The best part about this property is it is secluded from the other homes around it.

Great place to stay in a great neighborhood

This house is great for a family looking to spread out. It has a very nice yard. The house is clean and verry well stocked with just about everything you could need. It is located in a very family friendly and quite neighborhood. The host was great.

Lovely Burien Hideaway

House is adorable, well stocked and quiet. Close to the Burien waterfront. Host is available if needed - easy friendly communication. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will be back!

Beautiful

We really enjoyed how quaint the house was. It was easy to get to the freeway and it is in a very quiet neighborhood. The host does stay in an apartment above the house but we didn't mind that. He was very pleasant and welcoming.

We loved our stay in Burien! We were in town for a wedding with family ranging from toddlers to grandparents, and this house worked perfectly for everyone. There was lots of space to spread out, a great yard for the kids to play, and the covered porch with a swing was such a nice bonus.The location was awesome — close to a beach park where we spent a lot of time, and super convenient to the airport without being noisy at all.The host added so many thoughtful touches that made everything easy and welcoming. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Charming beautiful home

We needed to have a relaxing weekend while our house is being sold this fit the bill perfectly. There are plenty of comfortable places to relax and sit outside and enjoy the beauty. Great yard for the pets to play.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. We spent 4 nights and the house was beautiful and spacious. The kids had a great time. We visited Seattle Space Needle, Seattle Great Wheel and Pikes Marketplace. Beautiful home, wonderful hosts

Every detail was consciously crafted and lovely! The host was very responsive and the home was well provisioned. The porch swing was a favorite spot and there is a beautiful little park two blocks away. We will definitely be back!
